Kanada EHHH???
Soo like most experienced psychonauts, Age is catching up (even though im only 21) the need to experience and consume various psychedelics and uppers are past, and with that being said, what goes up must come DOWN!!! my point being Downers are what im into now (OC's and Dilly's to be specific).
With that said im still somewhat new to opiates, ive been doing them on and off for about 4 months now. I dont use heavily (i get my supply about once a week) and dont do it for more than 3 days in a row (cuz usualy my supply goes dry by then :( ) but ive never felt any withdrawl symptoms. the most mg's of OC's ive consumed in a night was about 120mg's (wont do that again 8( ) and dillys are about 24mg's a night.
I guess what im wanting to know is, how long can i keep doing this before i would start to get any withdrawl symptoms???? and what are the withdrawl symptoms like??? my friends talkin about getting "Dope Sick" but i dont know if that means getting sick after not consuming for a while or getting sick the day after consuming too much (which has happened to me) anyways just looking for some new advice.

^Its impossible to comprehend just how shitty opiate WD is.

You really don't want to put yourself there..

Eight0eight is absolutely right.

These threads come up all the time and people expect that there is some magical number of using X amount for X duration and they'll experience withdrawals but everyone is different. Generally if you use regularly tolerance will build (that process has already started) and if you often enough physical dependence will grow over time.

Dopesickness, Opiate withdrawal or Kicking basically starts out with yawning, watery eyes and a runny nose. Then it progresses into overall discomfort, joint and muscle pain, cold sweats, nausea/vomiting, severe diarrhea, SEVERE insomnia for most people, restless and terrible anxiety, RLS that will drive you mad and other symptoms. Also, if you have a severe habit, many people say that this physical withdrawal that lasts 3-4 days (longer if you take long-acting drugs or have a huge habit) is nothing compared to the Post-Acute Withdrawal Syndrome (PAWS).

Your right where I was at right before I got really hooked. I'd quit while your ahead buddy. Being "dopesick" is the withdrawal. Trust this guy above me, opiate withdrawal is worse than almost anything, it's a multitude of the worst physical and mental symptoms you will ever experience. It's like the flu, except you can't sleep and can't seem to get comfortable no matter what position (restless leg but all over) aches and pains in your joints and everywhere else. You''ll most likely be throwing up, having diarrhea, wont sleep for days, extreme anxiety and depression (if your already prone it will magnify it times ten), hot and cold sweats. Trust me it's the worst 4-7 days of your life.

If you're already consuming 120mg of oxycodone (or around there), or 24mg of dilaudid in a night, I'm surprised you're already not withdrawing.

Some people are more susceptible to being dope sick (coming down; not being sick when high) than others. I would cut back if I were you to using only 1 time per week, if that. Plus I would lower the dose. 120mg of oxycodone would be 8 good blasts for me IMO. Plus, 24mg of dilaudid would be 24 good blasts for me.

youre pushing it man. I was confused how it was possible to work up a tolerance to be able to take 120 mgs, and not have wds. The only solution besides some weird genetic gift is that youre using three days in a row then taking four off. Ill bet if you even start to do four days in a row and three off youll get to experience dopesickness upclose and personal.

Actually the 120 mg's of oxy was a mistake (im suprised i diddnt OD myself)... i usually do around 80mgs when i do it, and i used to only get my supply once a week and do it all that same night. But lately ive been ran into a somewhat steady supplier and my impulse is wanting MORE!!!! luckily hes out for the rest of the week or i would be fucked outta my tree right now. I guess i will start to slow down since i didn't realize how much i was pushing it.

Good idea man. Trust me you aren't that too deep in yet. A month after I tried heroin I was an every day user (most days I used at least once or twice). If you aren't physically and psychologically addicted yet you can still cash your chips & walk out without many unpleasant WD symptoms.

Jimmy legs! Midnight breakdancing!

I agree- cut back to once a week. I too am surprised you have not experienced any withdrawal symptoms. I remember the first time banging heroin- after three days of shooting up I was experiencing mild WD's-

trust everyone here when they say you dont want to find out- it is the WORST experience EVER.

Smile now, cry later...

looking back i had some WD symptoms and didn't realize that is what they were because they were not severe at first. ESPECIALLY insomnia and a little restless leg syndrome. do you ever have trouble sleeping after your 3 day binges? what about yawning alot? watery eyes? it is possible you are already physically addicted, but your symptoms are so mild you don't notice them. i know that is what happened to me.

you are definitely dancing on the edge dear. it doesn't take long for 3 days to turn into a week. at this rate it won't be long til you figure out what WDs are about.

This question has become so commonplace, perhaps we need a "How much can I use without feeling withdrawl?" Megathread. Just kidding. We all know the answer is 100mg three times a week.;)

But seriously, it's pretty simple: Anyone who is asking this is headed for addiction, and eventual psychological and physical withdrawl.

I can take 240mgs over about 14 hours and not be close to oding, I've never had withdrawls and i use up to 5 days in a row sometimes for a month, 2 days off. Then i go a couple months with nothing if i want, it's all in genetics

If u continue what u r doing soon enough u will experience w/d. That's just how it is for 99% of the people. They start out the way u do, tolerance develops, they use more and more to get the same effects and bam they get w/d and use just to feel normal. U r on ur way to getting addicted. 80mgs of oxy is a lot to do at once. And u r using often. The way people get addicted is they start out by using rarely, to every weekend, to weekends plus one day a week and before they know it they are using everyday.

U might already be psychologically addicted and the physical symptoms are just a matter of time. I'd stop using if I were u. It seems that the only thing keeping u from using more often is ur source. If u could get it more often u would probably use a lot more. U r pretty much setting urself up for addiction. Just cuz u haven't had w/d yet doesn't mean that u won't, most likely u will get them pretty soon and u will start using just to feel normal. Google w/d and u'll see how shitty it is, but reading about w/d can not really explain its shittness until u experience it urself.

Also one u get w/d, u will be more prone to it every time u use, even if u use one or two times in a row. If u wanna continue enjoying opiates I suggest using very rarely, at most once a month. By continuing what u r doing u will get addicted and that is just a shitty place to be no matter how u look it. Don't think that u r in anyways special and won't get addicted just cuz u haven't already. It will happen to u. It's just what happens to people who use oxy often, there is no way around it and thinking that u r somehow addiction proof is an easY way to get yourself addicted. Not saying that u think this way, just saying it in case u r having these kinds of thoughts. u r not w/d and addiction proof just cuz u haven't experienced these things yet.

THE BEST WAY TO AVOID W/D IS NOT USING!

in the beginning i hardly got withdrawals, even when using at your pace, or more. the more you use the worse you feel without them. it took a while before i got into full blown withdrawals. opiates drag you in slow. but now that im sorta clean (at least not using much) i get withdrawals after 2 days of any use. it sucks :\

I would go on methadone binges for 2 weeks at a time every couple of months. Never experienced withdrawal until I used heavily for about 2months everyday. Theres nothing like that first withdrawal, scares the living shit out of you.

I think a good general rule for opiates is just never use two days in a row. I used every other day for a year or two straight, even sometimes two days in a row (friday and saturday) but stuck to the every other day rule during the week. I'd use monday, wednesday, and then friday and saturday, only using 20 mg and i would puke 2 or 3 times throughout the night from it! That's how low my tolerance was. And it never increased either until i started using many days in a row and going on week or two binges. THAT'S what shot my tolerance through the roof and then I had to use 40 mg to get high, then 50 mg, then 60 mg, then 80 mg...

Also only getting high only one time in a day (I would use late at night) keeps your tolerance down. I would split 20 mg into two 10 mg lines, and do one up one nostril and the other up the other nostril 10-20 min later.

If you use 80mg's of OC to get high, you're already above the 'norm'. I know a lot of people who only need 10-20mg's to get fucked up, so if you're at the 60-80mg range, you're playing with fire. I haven't done opiates or any drugs for a while now, but reading these posts brings back memories. yawning and watery eyes truly are the first tell-all signs that you're body is noticing that it's not getting the drugs, and you're about to hate life.

^I was on opiates everyday for about 3.5 years and when I wasn't, I was w/ding... its been about 2-3 months since I stopped and I still get a little nervous when I yawn.
