Harm Reduction Are there any dangers of plugging?

I was on bupe maint. 24mg for 22mos, I got cut off due to non-payment... I've found a very efficient (i.e. high BA) using alcohol sublingually, nevertheless I occassionally plug as now that my dose is down to 8mg (in only 3 weeks ) I get a rush off it similar to IM...

RE: constipation, plugging unfiltered Suboxone is as if I were taking my higher, originally scripted dose... given my rather rapid taper, that's actually welcome at times

However, I've found the most efficient way (i.e. can use a smaller syringe) that also produces next to no constipation, and perhaps more importantly hits quicker and harder, is to first filter the solution with compacted cottons

I have been having Awful pain in my rectum that I attributed solely to hemorrhoids but now I am considering that it is probably the Adderall that I have been plugging. I am on the verge of getting hemorrhoid surgery and the thought appeared to me that possibly I should stop plugging Adderall. I feel so stupid now

how about plugging meth? does anyone do that? been snorting daily for over a year and my nose has about had it and i refuse to iv or smoke. sounds like an interesting way to help my nose heal up. no holes in my face or anything. just bleeds all the damn time.

Dang, I've heard meth has a gnarly burn when you insufflate it. I've yet to try methamp. I've had access to it before, but it was dirty low purity stuff. I'm not big on 'street drugs' unless they're of a good quality/purity. Cept H maybe, I just like opies... I'd buy lesser quality if the price was right.


I agree plugging stims is a great way to go. I've had a LOT of methylphenidate (ritalin) given to me for dirt cheap recently. Oral has something like a 10-20% bioavail (dont quote me on that it's just a estimate from the vague memory I have of the value). I haven't found a exact value for rectal either, but it's much much much higher. I'd never snort this stuff when there's plugging (dont care for insufflating pills much either). Ultra high bioavail, and very quick onset are just so much better. With mehtyl-p, rectal administration is fully absorbed within ~5-10min vs like an hour or more with oral. It's definitely letting me stretch out what I have.

I tried plugging methadone once but it was just 10mg to keep me from being sick inbetween kratom orders, was to subtle to say much about it. Though I have a vague memory that I read it had equal, or slightly greater bioavail than oral. Oral works good enough for me with 'done though.

Plugged EPH today, now i'm having some not so nice pains in my lower stomach area/abdominal part of the ureter... Had this once or twice from Ket/MXE also. Any ideas to prevent this (besides from not plugging at all ) or help aiding the process of recovery?

Is EPH ephedrine? Anyway sticking drugs up your ass of any sort is going to give you some kind "side affects" down there. A guy I knew plugged Heroin for years and started shitting out mucus....

EPH is normally ethylphenidate is it not?
Which makes perfect sense and it is quite known to be very painful when insufflated as well.

Yes, i meant Ethylphenidate. It's usually more on the caustic side, but dissolved in water it's not as bad as one may think. Today i don't know if it even was the EPH giving me those pains in my lower belly area, because i had a somewhat heavy workout beforehand, in which this area was involved, so...

Had really bad muscle soreness around the belly/lower back/buttock-area the next day, so perhaps it was just because of my workout.

Whatever, i think plugging EPH in high doses for prolonged time will surely lead to problems with the mucosa/mucous membranes, so be careful guys

This ROA works great for Subutex. I even tried it with Torbutol from the vet! An oral dose would be ok for my cat, but plugged, it was enough for me! FYI: iirc the blood vessels closest to the sphincter bypass the liver more than the ones deeper inside. I've seen "sups on a stick" that were designed to be retained just inside. The stick had a ring on it to keep the sup from migrating in too deep. I would like to try this ROA with DMT or salvinorin A, since they can't be taken orally to any effect.

Nothing, Uno. But insufflation of a whole 8 mg Subutex is just nasty. It's a large volume of gross tasting powder.

True. Done correctly, responsibly and with moderation (ie, know your limits), Plugging is one (if not THE) safest Route of Administration of all.

if you did a huge amont i guess there's still risk of overdose, but that'd take a LOT.

As a matter of fact, Rectal Bioavailability being only second to IV, (at least with my experience plugging Ritalin), it takes little to Overdose with plugging.

I've had a regular history of Cocaine/Methylone 200-300mg or MDPV/a-PVP/4-fma/2-fma/mxe from 75-150mg all dissolved in 25ml Olde English 800 8% Malt Liquor... By regular I mean probably 2-4 grams any given compound comparatively every month for the last 2 years and I can say, no, despite being the greasiest shit i've ever heard of, no lasting damage besides what you get up to sexually once the crazy horny hits... possible short term 1-2 days max would be gastrointestinal/indigestion issues... and that'd be some dirty drug... maybe bacterial infections if you don't do it properly... Only damage that will happen besides that is prolapse with heavy abuse and the possible minor/mild skin burns if you end up with a shit chemical like badly cooked meth, or something malicious... Yes you can definitely fuck up the muscles and skin back there but if you know the chemical you're working with isn't caustic you probably won't hurt yourself more than diarheaa ONCE if your body rejects it... Cocaine is an explosive white glow, as was MDPV for me but that's personal affinity. Psychedelically there was one death in Japan I know is listed on Erowid involving something like 100-150mg 5-meo-DipT blown via pipette into a gentleman's anus via his partner, which killed him after a hour of excited/paranoid delirium... Not sure what to make of that myself, but if you at least pay attention with dose when you plug anything from tryptamine to DOC/2c-x, pyrovalerones, my advice is do allergy tests the same way as orally/intranasal folks do. Work your way up to a sweet spot and fuck eating or vaporizing anything anymore. That being said I've induced full on delirium/hallucinations at least twice , but fuck me if it doesn't work better than anything else for metabolizing fast with a rush but long and steady too. ... Only thing I can't imagine is Levamisole... had the good luck to end up with an eighth of it once, hadn't heard of it until I had no immune system anymore... Fun in a strange way, but that could have probably killed me plugged... stick to anything with an average dose of 60-100mg or more for the sweet spot and start out with a couple milligrams to test your body with it and you'll do no damage short term. Long term in meaning of like cancer or shit like that is a study in progress I suppose but 2 years so far I have no problems at all.

I'm trying to get the most bang for my buck with my prescription, seeing as I'm in a lot of pain, but I'm concerned about the seizure risk...so would it be ok? I plan to try it tomorrow but I wanted to check about it first...

@flappy: Oxycodone works great plugged, but oxyMORPHone... WAY better plugged. 10 mg plugged feels like 30 - 40 mg by mouth. @ xtcgrrrl: yes you can plug tramadol. Expect 20-30% better bioavailability.

Are you familiar with any ways to potentiate the effects of adderall when plugging?


I love plugging for a couple of reasons.
1st, I can feel it hits. Me like it.
2nd, I can eat food, not worrying about baking soda and time between meals. For me, it's at least 2 hours with completely no food, baking soda or some alkalizer, another 40 minutes of waiting, then adderall, then another 45-60 minutes of waiting (depending on the day), then no food for about 40-60 minutes. 4.5 hour process. Screw it. Even writing this takes 10 times longer.
3rd, it excites me when I'm in some public space and I shove adderall up in my anus, where next to me is a solid citizen, taking his daily dump, while watching porn on his iPhone 4s. How do I know that? One time a guy dropped the phone and I saw what cannot be unseen, gay porn. I assume he was masturbating too. I'm not sure if that was iPhone 4 or 4s tho, but nothing newer for sure.
4th, it's like a ritual. Perfectly dissolved pill (or 2 ), hidden syringe in my sock, walking like a boss with a smile on the left side and nodding to the hottest female in the building like, "hey what's up?", she nods back with a smile like, "only if I would be single," and then bam bam bam, close door pants down saliva butt plug fast flush down clean syringe wash hands, everyone thinks, "he took a quick piss." Never make anyone think you poop, especially if the hottest lady can see how much time you have spent in the restroom. Always with a plan, always thinking on my feet, always 2 steps ahead the losers - 1st step it's just me, 2nd step it's my adderall.
