And what purpose they want it to serve....it's like an AI Comic style anime short depicting someone becoming a vendor on Archetyp and then getting arrested and there is all these extra shots and cuts of police and military all geared up and on their computers all super hacker style and stuff and yeah it is really something I'm not quite sure what to think about it

It's getting to the point where even 'reliable' sources aren't so reliable. Unless you perform instrumental analysis on the product, you don't know what you have. With phenethlamines, there are several with similar activity so a vendor could just make one of them and sell them as three different things. Misrepresentation is a sliding scale.
A friend who had been getting K from the same place for years was sent 3-MeO PCE. Now was that a mistake (vendors have made mistakes and killed buyers in the past) or was the vendor stuck having bought what they thought was a bargain only to discover nobody wanted it? There is no way of knowing. The reviews are now commonly manipulated and most crypto can now be traced - so I think it's time has passed. Now the flint-eyes psychopaths who expect to get in and out of the business before the dodgy wares are common knowledge are taking over.
In short, Grisham's Law is in action.

2 different source s just to make sure. Bit like how over-hyped 4-FA was.
It was far from good either way. Comparing it with MDMA or Amphetamine.

MDPV was AWFUL.
The original pyrovalerone is far, far better. That, I assume, is why when the single patent covering both was issued, further trials showed it to be worse by whatever metrics were applied.
Pyrophenidone is a bioisostere of pyrovalerone and it's OK. More potent but with a shorter duration of action.

Back then the RC market had both MDPV and Pentedrone.
Remember ordering the last quite often, i rather just chew Khat.
But i guess it sufficed for the time being.
Later on 3-FPM and 2-FA appeared,
both way better as functional stimulants.
Though in-between i would at times have my prescription for
dextro-Amphetamine running again, which is superior to all.
So no need searching for suitable RC stims, pfff.
Ps was PyroValerone ever available as RC, or only as med ?

No - pyrovalerone is in the UNODC list (I think).
But whoever chose MDPV did the classic - they looked for the most potent example.
I've already said that the para ethynyl homologue of mephedrone is likely to be similar to MDMA but I assume it's costly and no more potent than mephedrone. One day MAYBE someone will make it, but don't bet on it.

It definitely doesn't feel like it used to be even quality wise, and you can only get the same substances with varying degrees of bullshit. For instance, trying to get proper uncut ketamine is a pain in the ass, years and years of harm reduction info and now people are buying the idea that 3 euro/gram needle ketamine is somehow properly separated S-isomer only and isnt just racemic with mostly MSG in it. Pharma vials don't exist, they've always been rare, but now it's science fiction, and whatever vials you see around are sketchy at best.
Repeat customers seldom have good things to say also.
I'm glad i got proper MDMA this summer, especially after reading the thread about disappointing mdma experiences since both testing and me rolling balls confirmed it was the real deal, but that's gone and done with, and now that i need more, i don't feel like i can trust anyone as i'd like.
Big names like GG being gone for good isn't helping my need for proper entheogens either. I wonder if my 10 year old tabs are still good.
On the other hand, street vendors are so absolutely dogshit where i live that DNMs are the only option, even for weed. I thought glass-laced weed was an urban legend, then one day i get some really suspiciously keify weed, i try to grind it and my grinder gets IMMEDIATELY nuked and scratched to shit, like 1mm deep grooves all over it.
Turns out it's not a fucking myth. Not gonna lie, it was scary. Never went back to street vendors after that, it's so much riskier overall.
Real AAA zaza is ironically getting hard to get, coming back from Amsterdam and paying stupid top dollar for top weed reminded me what the real stuff i used to get was like, now it's all like, B+ at most even when paying the premium for "cali import".
Weed feels too similar between strains too, i obsess over choosing a decent variety of high quality sativas, indicas and hybrids and when i smoke it all i do is sleep like a rock for 5 hours, and when i stop it's 3 days of me not being able to sleep or eat guaranteed. I'm almost certain that the approach vendors have towards strains is like that one scene from old simpsons where the guy serves like 10 restaurants at the same time from one single "all-purpose meat" vat.
It almost feels like i'm doing something wrong.
And you still can't fucking get MXE despite everyone wanting it.
Shitty situation all around.

If you want to be certain of what you have, you need to get appropriate instrumentation.
As law enforcement has closed down suppliers, there are people who boast a huge range of compounds and apparently even handed out a few samples of the very cheapest compound (which turned out to be not too good) but who I suspect haven't made ANYTHING else. Offering compounds at lower prices that the precusrors cost in China. The grift it to hand out the cheap stuff (cost $2000 or so), throw up a website offering HUGE discounts... if you order a lot... then only accepting crypto and having no feedback mechanism for people to flag that it's a scam.
If it looks too good to be true, it's a scam. Scammers rely on making people make on-the-spot decisions and not everyone can say 'how can they charge $25/g when just one of the precursors cost several thousand $ per gram?' because they don't know those costs.
But someone tried to point me at not one but two scam sites. I was annoyed because I had made it pretty damned clear that the first site was a scam, so then suggesting I buy from what was the same site with a diferent URL and colour-scheme as if I wouldn't notice.
Adding 'I don't need anything but YOU should 100% buy from these people' kind of suggests they are PART of the scam. It's a BLer, I kept all the PMs but if I cut and paste them here, I would get banned.

Sorta glad I found this thread. Makes me not want to try to buy off the dark web. I didn’t realize how good I had it in the early 2000s. Trustworthy vendors with pure products I could order with a credit card. Drugs are too sketchy now. All the street drugs where I’m at are laced with fentanyl, and whenever I have tried to order something, I’ve always gotten a love letter.

Ordering with a credit card ended in 2004 when the cops busted all the american chemical supply houses and then arrested loads of buyers from their credit card details. Fuck that - darknets are the best thing that ever happened.
