Misc Are darknet markets worth it?

There was a whole network of people trying to trace BTC donations to the Daily Stormer before the admin started using unique addresses lol

I think most people get caught by using a Exchange account linked to their real name and sending BTC to somewhere dodgy

Certain exchanges will autoban users who send to certain addresses too

I've heard that XMR can be tracked but you have to be very unlucky fir ut to happen

I forget the explanation as to how it's possible

I've been seeing claims like that for a few years but they've never been substantiated and I've never heard of a prosecution arrising due to an XMR transaction being traced.

Have to figure if law enforcement were actually capable of pulling something like that off they probably wouldn't hide the fact. If anything they'd be shouting it from the rooftops. I think the main reason it's been banned from so many exchanges is simply because XMR transactions can't be traced, so the next best thing for law enforcement is to make it harder for people to acquire.

Doesn't mean it won't be traceable in future. Things move fast in tech, but that rule works on both sides of the fence.

public nodes. They can de-anonimize you to a degree, especially if you don't run them through tor. There was an exploit of some sort a while ago that could let you get info about a wallet if you were running a malicious node, but that has been patched. My memory on that is a bit fuzzy, though, but that's how i remember it, look it up and you'll find stuff though.

just run your own node.

Anyways, speaking of darknet markets, this really isn't a good month for them, huh?

there still are some around, but at this point they're kinda empty and i think a lot of the scene is gonna be murky and disorganized and unavailable after this double whammy. private stores do exist but aren't the norm. It won't be for long i reckon, though. This shit has been happening in the same old way ever since day one, nobody is really surprised. Everyone gets burned every now and then.

I got lucky though, by a day. These are some really fucking good amphetamines i'm on, son. Absolutely delicious. Mmm-hm. And that's not all i got, either. This summer is looking pretty great.

anyway even now options still exist and the highly motivated will get by just fine. LE and scams are never really gonna stop this as long as it works in some capacity, and it does.

One techie question - why does reinstalling tor browser always let you get straight into a darknet site? If you don't reinstall it then you don't seem able to get into the darknet sites. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

MDA has been on my wishlist for years I don't know how it became so obscure. I haven't looked since last year but it was Canada only then too.

Canadians have all the fun.
I know that place, they have two different types, a powder and those moonrock chunks, I have some of both, haven't tried it yet. And like a dozen different colors of MDMA I don't know if colors are just a sales tactic or if it matters, i dont know, but I get all my shit there (besides mescaline which is cheaper elsewhere). They have GHB/4-MMC/2-cb now and other shit and you can buy with a credit card or electronic payment. Also free testing by mail if you are worried is available to Canadians. Everything I tested so far is legit.

The only good thing about fentanyl epidemic is police concentrate on hard drugs, if you sell say shrooms, you can set up on clearnet and will likely never have problems. There are probably a hundred places selling shrooms. They don't get shut down, so they start selling DMT carts, acid etc. Its the way weed was kind of grey area before. It seems insane to target that stuff when i can buy meth or fent in the park down the street, 24 hours a day. Most cities will shut down storefronts, besides van or some native reserves, online is booming now though.

Canada might be bringing in new laws on warrantless mail search though, its not all great here. I have never used that Canada only darknet market, i may someday, the only drug I want and cant find now is PCP, or any non K dissos. Its not popular enough for the party drug sellers, but Canadian RC vendors won't sell them because all PCP analogs are illegal in Canada...

There is a guide to bitcoin, I guess bitcoin is no good anymore but I assume most of the same principles apply? I had a couple of members helping me a ton and i still never pulled the trigger on it because 1. I dont wanna lose everything on my cpu from installing/reinstalling 2. I believe my computer to be hacked. (although since I switched providers things seem alright?)
Bit coin is good for gaining cash, when played right.

The only thing I can think of when considering breaking the security of XMR is the IRS bug bounty that was out for Monero (also Bitcoins (shit coin :poop:) lightning network). It was payed out to Integra and chainanalysis. Considering the mathematics behind Monero and the fact there aren't any glaring issues with the implementation I'd assume the Bitcoin lightning network was what was broken.

The only thing you should be worried about if using Monero is if your personal wallet key has been revealed to someone other than yourself. Either through disclosing to others what it is or through someone hacking and monitoring your PC.

To answer the question of are darknet markets worth it, I'd say yes. I haven't used them in a bit so I don't know how they are today but when I was using them I was able to get pretty much anything I wanted and often at prices much cheaper than buying on the street . If using darknet markets make sure to encrypt your messages with pgp, use Monero and for extra protection use a privacy focused OS such as tails or whonix.

Getting back OT, It does appear as a case of diminishing returns,

It there was a moment where I realized some vendors don't have the SLIGHTEST idea of what they are selling was when the analgesic nefopaom was on offer. Now nefopam was supposed to be as potent as morphine in the treatment of certain types of pain... but it isn't an opiod. There were two or threee examples of patients becoming addicted to the stuff because it monkeys around with extra-callular monoamine levels. But even in the UK it was only ever a [POM] and it was eventally removed when it was shown only to substitute for opioids when dental or neuropathic pain was involved.

But someone likely read those case reports and imagined buyers might want it.

That's the problem - animal models cannot provide QUALITATIVE data unless a study is designed to do so an even then, they have very limited utility.

I've met vendors. The best just don't care, the worse actually brag that their product has killed people.

Last point - no medicinal chemists any more. It really is just people guessing.

Interesting. I'm from Aus and have only ever ordered from Aus (cus our border security is fucked (decent chance orders from overseas will be seized) ). Is this specific to opioids or certain marketplaces you've used?

They're less safe because if the dealer bumps you and the DNM doesn't uphold your appeal you have literally no recourse
I meant safer in a way where it saves you from going to tough neighborhoods or interacting with people that might give you trouble one way or another.
It's not like you got a lot recourse ways either if some random dealer bump you in real life ? You can go and threaten his life or convince to unbump you but how much more problems is that ?
But yeah I am sure there is plenty of scams out there

I wouldnt feel comfortable going to see a street dealer after he burned me and saying "BIIITCCHH you be backslidin' on me motherlicker??".

Because he is six foot four and 270lbs. He would crush my skull like an egg.

in contrast the LSD dealer is a complete gentleman..
