I suppose what I meant is that is what has bothered me about gaming as a spectator sport or even competing in it myself. You're right there will be good players but honestly I've never watched a competitive gaming video and been like, "Wow, holy fucking shit! That guy is good!" The closest I've seen is Starcraft competitions.
Like I said I've played a ringer in multiple games in scrimmages against "the best" people. I've never found it anymore challenging than specific public servers where good players end up.

There are a LOT of people who have "professional" level talent but only a few of them actually take the time to join a clan, practice, join competitions, etc, etc. So that aspect of it seems like kind of a joke because SO MANY people are that good.
It's not like watching the Olympics where you know these people are like the best of the best and trained for years to be able to compete. When I watch a "professional" match in ANY FPS game I'm like.. whoop de doo, looks like an average night on a server that has a reputation for being hardcore except with more coordination cause everyone knows each other.
