"Like" is probably the word I've had to train myself to unuse the most. I still catch myself saying it every once in awhile.
When I see people talking in real life and using "like" every other word, like it's really cringe. Like they aren't very intelligent or, like, they endorse the glorification or ignorance, or like whatever. You know, just like... haha.
I thought it was mainly a California thing for most of my life, that stereotypical valley girl accent, but after living all across the US, it's certainly universal.
Alright keep yer mane on, AslanI'm not a boomer, my parents are boomers.

A long time ago someone had a bowl of my homemade chili (of which I'm quite proud) and said it was "the bomb."I can't keep up with younger people's internet lingo, but I try my best.
For me, it's because that sort of misuse abandons all logic. I can understand the confusion between it's and its. But to add an apostrophe to an s that is simply plural makes no sense. Likewise, I really don't get mixing up there, they're, and their.I don't know why it's that expression / use of language in parlicular, but...it is.

People simply aren't thinking. At all.
