aMT, Al-Lad, LSz, 5-meo-dalt, (also AH7921+) BANNED from Jan 7th

arseholes.

he ACMD reports the physical effects of the tr
yptamine compounds as visual
illusion, hallucination and euphoria amongst others

ok but what are the bad effects?

Living in the fucking dark ages. PURITANS

Sad indeed... had an email in my junk about Al-lad being banned on the 7th... haven't even tried it yet which is pretty fuckin slack seeing as i love Acid... i could get lsd at the time though so never bothered with it..

My lsd man has disappeared into the ether though, so now may be the time

Thank fuck for the banning.

The listed drugs are way too similar in strength/effects to many current illicit drugs. People should be encouraged to live lives healthily and stay away from drugs, so I think this legislation is really good for the general public at large.

Good on ya, Cameron

Trollbait aside, what - if anything - do you mean by that? I'm genuinely intrigued cos - on the surface - seems to mean nothing but presumably it does to you. What are you suggesting?

How's the hangover and how many of your governmentally-recommended daily ethanol units did you have left over at the end of the night? ;)

They're largely analogues / very similar drugs, to your current list of prohibited substances, no? amt/ecstasy lsz/lsd etc

Not bad. Still went for a 4 hour run today and enjoyed it, something that wouldn't have happened if I dosed up on any of the previous substances last night.

here's some pictures I snapped on my run today. not anything too staggering here, but nice looking location nonetheless

actually most of those drugs *would* allow you to run just fine the day after. and probably be less unhealthy for your liver in the process... not that we ll ever know for sure.

also, they ban eth- and pro-lad and ald52. i didnt even think they were available... were they?

^ AFAIK those substances have never been available. Perhaps in extrememly limited quantities to people who happen to know an LSD chemist personally but certainly never widely available. I presume that they are just closely-enough related to AL-LAD, LSZ and ultimately LSD to be reasonably easily covered pre-emptively just in case somebody tries it. Governments have always had an especially big problem with psychedelics for whatever reason. Although apparently being able to buy benzos by the metric fucktonne legally online is not seen as anything like as dangerous 8)

Partially true, yes (although use of aMT predated use of MDMA by a good decade or more and has been a prescription drug in the past so doesn't really come under the usual definition of a Research Chemical as it has actually been properly researched). You have made part of a point but it still doesn't actually connect to any coherent argument.

Erm, as long as you aren't a heavy daily drinker alcohol is not really any trouble to the developed liver. I couldn't do a run like that after a stimulant drug like aMT because it would be too hard on the heart. I imagine the acid analogue would also be too strong to consider a 4 hour run the next day. 5-meo-wtf I can't really pass comment on as I don't know what the hell it is. is that the mushroom analogue giving shambles merciless brain zaps?? again probably too strong.

I guess the ban was inevitable, if you take the drugs then yeah it would be a bit disappointing for you. maybe a blessing in disguise, remember the government sensor these drugs for the sake of your welfare as they are considered dangerous.

No I'm trolling again, sorry guys best off ignoring my posts in this thread and carry on showing annoyance at the ban.

"Mushroom analogues" (I presume you must mean 4-AcO-DMT and related chemicals (although they aren't legal anyway)) don't cause brain zaps. I've complained of brain zaps from tramadol (prescription drug) and from 6-APB/6-APDB but - again - they're both illegal. And as for running on the LSD analogues, you could run whilst on them or afterwards. They have essentially no physical symptoms and no comedown effects whatsoever. They only have mental effects with perhaps a very, very light stimulation similar to a small amount of caffeine.

Say what you like about Shambles, he is a drugs expert. You should really get a job as a drug councellor or something. If i didn't feel you were gonna attempt to score drugs off the sufferer's, I think you could be very helpful. I'm sure it was a mushroom analogue that gave you persistent zaps though, or at least contributed. I remember it was on the fucked thread, but forgive me for not sifting through 49,602 posts to find it.

Definitely not any mushroom analogue. There are only two I've tried and both are extremely gentle much as mushrooms themselves are. There's really no chemical reason (as far as my very limited knowledge extends) how they could even cause brain zaps. The only drugs that have ever caused me persistent brain zaps are tramadol and SSRIs (especially paroxetine). Other than that 6-APB and 6-APDB cause them for a few days if I overindulge. And 4-FA has left me hanging for a couple days if I overindulge in that too. Those would come under "comedowns" rather than persistent zaps though. It's only prescription meds (taken as prescribed) that have ever caused those. For me anyway.

Unlike with alcohol, wich I no longer drink, providing my trip doesn't interfere with my sleep patterns, I suffer no hangover from using pretty much any psychedelic, particularly LSz & Al-Lad. These two produce no hangover whatsoever, & almost all of my hangovers from psyches are immediate, they do not linger into the next day.

The only reason these drugs are being banned is because of their structural similarity to banned drugs. They pose close to zero risk, to either an individual or to society. I fail to see how Al-Lad could be a danger to any society.

aMT is a different ball-game. aMT can & has caused harm & death, unlike LSz & Al-Lad.

I'd dispute that too but you carry on, don't mind me ;)

Come on Si, we all know psychedelics make you think you can fly and also turn you into a glass of orange juice.. Its true, The Daily Mail said so... ;)

I really would love to sit in on one of these meetings where they decide the fate of our fun stuff.... Even someone with my limited knowledge of how these chemicals actually interact on a cellular level would be able to drive tanks through their arguments for banning them..

Do you think they even have a meeting, or they just have a tombola type of setup, scribble the chemical name down, chuck em in, give it a spin and let Margaret the tea lady have 3 lucky dips?

It just makes no sense why Al-lad and LSZ have jumped the queue when there are far more potentially dangerous rcs on the market and have been for longer than they have..

Anyone know if theres anymore analogues of LSD to be potentially made or is that avenue exhausted now??

I lost all interest in RCs a few years back, only thing I've bought for quite some time was bk-2-cb when that first came along. Al-lad seems interesting though (plus has the best chemical name ever), I've been umming and ahhing about ordering some, and I guess this means it's now or never :/

I look forward to reading about all the shady new chemicals that come along to replace these, and the cycle continues...

Such a shame :( Was hoping that after not much happened with the recommendation in September the government might not get round to it for a while. Broke as atm so can't stock up on AL-LAD, I do have a couple of tabs in my stash so will just have to make sure I save them for the perfect time... 5-Meo-DALT I've had a bag of for a while and despite having had a few trips on it it still looks pretty full haha so at least I'll have that for a while. Stupid ban though, how many people have actually had severe health consequences from AL-LAD or LSZ since they came out? Despite feeling very intense I'm not sure how genuinely risky 5-Meo is either, the only death I've ever heard of involving DALT was that someone walked into a road and was killed by a car whilst on it, something that happens daily with people under the influence of alcohol...
