there is a shop selling wellies here at schiphol. they are green with pictures of tulips on them, very swish and suits you sir. i did not notice the price.

in other news, amsterdam is warm (19C) and sunny with some clouds. lovely. %)

just waiting for her majesty to arrive from edinburgh.;)

Laarzen is the translation for boots/wellie's. No idea where to buy them.

If only I'd thought about the mud situation while I was at the airport- those wellies sound interesting..
 
just sat inm the nes in and around dam square, how would i get tickets for dance valley just go to a records store i presume ? aint seen anyone yet :(

my train arrives on 11:01 (amsterdam time) at the main station :)
the last time ive been in amsterdam was when i stranded there on my way to istanbul 8-]
 
Someone take some pictures of all the lovely strains in the coffeeshops so I can drool over them hehe
 
Lovely day - 16-17C (62-64 F) and 80% rain today :| Maybe that means less walking around today (I met my quota for the week yesterday :| ) Will be up and about shortly with Mr. IJ I expect.

EDIT - looks very nice for tomorrow, however :)



According to the Flyer for DV - tix are available at the post office....go figure..
 
Consensus seems to be no to DV, and I'm starting to work on the principle that I should hang out with the Yanks, who I won't see for a while, in preference to UK people who I can see more easily...so felix/Kate, looks like I might just catch you after DV and then again on Sunday....but I'm planning on getting up to Scotland at some point so hopefully we can have a meetup there.

Rest of you, PM should be able to reach one of us or text me if you have my number... (if not, Kate has it).
