Holy Shit
Had such a odd experience 2 days ago, I had the Blues Son House used to sing about & had Townes lyrics running through my mind as I walked down the street (Marie if anyone cares) & some random guy caught my eye walking towards me. As we got to the point we walked past each other he looked at me again & put his hand out, then said "Yeah my Brother, I FEEL your Pain" & smiled at me.
His smile was as if he knew what I was thinking in my mind & he knew I was down, I just found this ssssssoooooo odd & wanted to tell you lot about it.
Anyway here is the same guy but his singing "A Song For" instead of Marie as I've posted that track before.
Hell Yeah my BrotherI think I posted this story elsewhere that when I was in a psych ward last year, during one music therapy session the therapist took song requests to play on her iphone/bluetooth speaker. I chose Marie. Prolly not a great choice considering some of the patients there were indeed houseless. But I also wanted them to know that Townes could empathize with their situations. Anyways, the therapist's phone kept cutting out for the first stanza or so, therefore they didn't get the whole story anyways :/
A Song For is a good one too.

I know this is Seasick Steve & his NOT Doc Boggs or Mississippi Fred McDowell to say the least & when I saw him live I was so fed up after a few mins, it was NOTHING like I expected but this track is amazing.
NOT the best finger picking you'll hear but the lyrics are great, I can relate all too well & the "space" in the Banjo playing adds feeling to the song.
@Jerry Atrick check this my Brother.
Works over here, I will try to link another version.video unavailable
