Benzos Alprazolam vs Valium vs Clonazepam

Does any of you have experience with Fludiazepam? Does it kick ass and what is it like compared to regular Diazepam?

I have a pretty good knowledge of benzos and others...the pharmacology/molecular bio backround....

Those Z drugs like Sonata/Ambien/Lunesta never worked that well for me for extended periods. Now they don't do much for insomnia--nothing for anxiety, etc. I have severe PD too...25 year history.

Temazepam is one of the better bz's for insomnia IMO though my one doc was scripting me for estazolam (ProSom) which I found a lot better (one of the best for insomnia all around) plus did help with the anxiety though had to take a couple 4mg's with my clon as an adjunct.

Been on all of the BZ's legally scripted in the US and I think just about every other :-)
There are a couple that are good/better than ProSom (estazolam)....

Temaz is usually taken (usually rx'd 15mg's) once nightly....VERY short lived and not good for PD etc IMHO. It's one of the few other bz's that still have enough kick that are legally rx'd that still have enough kick for me.

Diaz is okay though personally I found it not as good as clon (my current legal rx is 4-5mg/day with loraz (4-6/day). The diaz has the long half life (diaz, nordiaz) plus the temaz metabolite which gives it that extra 'good' feeling, plus the muscle relaxant props.

Librium is good too. Even my rock n roll doc stopped rx'ing that for the time being. I get switched except for the clon.

You might need 30mg of temaz with your cross tolerances to the other bz's and whatever else you might take.

Sertraline/Zoloft (SSRI's) buzz value

I also was prescribed sertraline HCL 50mg. can i get buzzed off of it or what????

ALL of the SSRI's/SNRI's (all the same to me) don't work anymore....to many years of being switched on and off of so many at cocktails and dosages.

I personally don't see any buzz factor for sertraline (Zoloft in US), but you COULD combine with certain others. Kind of hard to do plus the serotonin factor is always a risky thing. Not like the other serotonin drugs like Stablon, etc which are releasers which could give you a psychedelic buzz with the right cocktail.

IMO good idea not to mess with HT drugs (rx) for rec value. Others might have a different opinion....

Fludiazepam compared to diaz and others

Does any of you have experience with Fludiazepam? Does it kick ass and what is it like compared to regular Diazepam?

Yeah, fludiaz does have a better kick ass value than diaz. In some ways very similar to the other bz derivs like the flunitraz, nitraz, etc.

It's one of those bz's that gives you a very quick tolerance though. About a week, two ; depending on person and other drugs.

diaz compared to alp

Diaz and alp will have better effects on some than others but generally diaz with the long half life and the metabolite half lives (except temaz) make it a bit better. I haven't liked alps a whole lot for a decade or so, mostly because of the shorter half life.

Others will chime in with their opinions, but most harder core bz users don't like alps compared to the others out there. Course if you're on regular high doses for shorter periods the buzz/medicinal value is there.

I like diaz more for rec value but not medicinal. They are apples and oranges in some ways pharmacologically.

Short answer: NO

The anti-cholinergic side effects appear within mere hours of taking the pill, and they SUCK. And don't try taking a higher dose, because then you'll also get serotonin syndrome, which also SUCKS. And it's highly unlikely any of this will ever give you psychedelic or entactogenic effects. So, no, don't bother.

I can't believe anyone would prefer clonazepam do alprazolam... I have to take twice the amount of clonazepam to get a similar buzz, and still prefer alpraz....

1. Alprazolam
2. Clonazepam Very close 2nd nearly tied)
3. Diazepam

I love all of them though. Valium is hard to find. I have a script for Klonopin, and I can get Xanax whenever.

xanax, valium, klonopin in that order anyone else that says otherwise is an idiot. Look up the chemical formulas valium is closest to xanax with klonopin having way more oxygen molecules making it less antioxylitic. Atleast thats what having less oxygen molecules would make me think.

lmao...wtf are u talking about?

xanax is a triazolo benzo, diazepam and clonazepam are 1,4 benzos (diazepam a 2- keto agent, and clonazepam a 7-nitro).

diazepam and clonazepam are more closely related.

Molecular weight/dosages have nothing to do with how good a drug feels to someone.

I'm assuming the people that prefer clonazepam to alprazolam do so because it lasts a lot longer and has LESS (oh it's definately still there, obviously) of a tendency to make you blackout. I've passed out a number of times on clonazepam, but I think I've only blacked out a couple times in like almost 10 years. With alprazolam I'm lucky if I don't blackout each time when I use or ABUSE it. That stuff would fuck me up so much that I wouldn't even know I was blacked out things I clearly remembered (and thought I remembered the details of). I would remember sitting at a pub with some friends and pushing someone back since they pushed me, but I wouldn't remember hitting the person first. I would dream of crashing my car, wake up go outside and find that my car was fucked up. Things like that, and it only got worse. Anyone reading this, don't take it as a green light (or a blue one :) ) to go eat oodles of clonazepam and not run into trouble. I personally never really had trouble with it. Sometimes when my tolerance was low I'd get ultra-inebriate from it to the point that I'd be in a fight with the manager of Best Buy in the parking lot over me yelling the F-word in his store (lol that was fucked up), but nothing ever remotely close to xanax (alprazolam). I've seen a couple other people though get fucking trashed on clonazepam though, and from very low dosages respectively. The last time I saw this happen I gave my cousin half of one of the 2mg pills that I took 8 of daily. And I thought I was being conservative. He blacked out so bad he almost got violent with his grandmother. He punched his motherboard when he took his PC apart and even went into fits of crying inbetween the periods of napping in a blackout for a few minutes at a time. It was strange to say the least. He doesn't remember any of it other than starting to feel weird then waking up the next day. Head this warning.
That being said, I definately like alprazolam more. It always felt more euphoric and gave me a stronger "benzo nod", and I'm compairing similar dosages like .5mg alpraz to 2mg clonaz. Actually I'd think it'd be more like .25mg to 2mg. Alprazolam has always been more expensive though, so taking this into account, clonaz starts to look better and better.

VolkeBobruysk: How come noone ever speaks of Fludiazepam? With Valium being so popular, wouldn't Fludiazepam ("Fluvalium") be just as popular if not more? And what do you know about Nordiazepam? The reason why I'm so curious is that I only recently learned about those two (Fludiaz and Nordiaz) and I'd like to know more about them. Especially when it comes to strengths, popularity, and personal experiences.

Up until a week ago, I would agree with you. I've been rx'd 2mg tabs for the past year and xanax was always the best benzo for me because it's so damn effective at getting rid of panic attacks and because when you're in the midst of a panic attack, it really only takes 3 - 5 minutes for the panic attack to go away after you take xanax.

However, I now prefer klonopin. Maybe I just burned out my desire of xanax, but it's just too up and down for me now. I loved taking it for fun, but now it's just too quick. I like klonopin a lot more because it feels more sedating and gives me more of a relaxing body high, where xanax gave me a clumsiness in my limbs. Plus klonopin doesn't wear off after 3 hours for me. I'm used to taking 2 - 3mg when I need xanax, and 1mg klonopin did it for me (I didn't get sleepy, but felt great).

I'm also more apt to get into a lot of trouble with klonopins (yelling at cops, starting fights, etc) than I am with xanax.

Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

No one speaks of it purely because we don't have many members from Japan and Japan's other surrounding countries. It's not prescribed in the west at all.
And as for Nordiazepam, you take that every time you take Diazepam. That's the main metabolite and is responsible for it's extremely long half-life.
It doesn't seem to be scripted regularly at all for some reason, which is odd as I'm sure it's wonderful for anxiety. You could take a dose and be anxiety-free for a couple of days :)
Oh, I've just read that it's only a partial agonist actually. Weaker but less potential for addiction.

Like I said I would I went to see my doctor about some Nitrazepam and he told me he wasn't allowed to prescribe it to me (don't ask me why, I'm not even sure he was telling the truth, I mean he's a doctor, he could prescribe Fentanyl to me if he wanted, couldn't he?), so instead he gave me some Alopam. At first I didn't know what it was, but when I looked it up on Wikipedia later that day I learned it is Oxazepam, the first benzo I tried. I know Oxazepam is extremely weak, and he pisses me off. He could at least give me Diazepam, which I'll ask for the next time I see him. Anyway, I am given two Alopam pills daily, each on 15mg. As I stated earlier, I have no tolerance to benzos and I still weigh about 60kg. How many mg's of Oxazepam would you estimate I would have to take in order to get a high? Please, I just want an estimate, I haven't forgotten I shouldn't be thinking 'I need to take X mg's of Y to equal Z mg's of B'. But since I am not addicted to benzos, I can save up a stash of them by not taking the two I am given each day the day I fetch them.

anyone have weird tolerance to other benzos than others?

I have a very high benzo tolerance, scared shitless about the 'wds im gonna have to face soon but now have help from a councellor and stuff and she can sort a taper for me if needed.

4mg of xanax would have me pretty messy, but id still be able to function etc, diazepam i have a very high tolerance too aswell but it gets me sedated and relaxed.

Today first time trying clonaz, im on 6mg =120mg valium, but i dont feel sedated, feel relaxed and no anxiety and thats it, would of thought it would of made me black out, not going to take anymore or add any alcohol as it probabably would fuck me over lol.

But so far xanax id best for short term anxiety attacks, clonazepam so far feels like a good one for functioning during the day whilst being anxiety free, diazepam is good for chilling with a few beers and spliffs.

But if I take the two pills, do you think it would be enough to make me feel something? I just want to be sedated or slighty messed up or perhaps in a better mood. You know what I mean. I just wanna be... high!
