Acid test experiment **Read all** for users and non users

completed your experiment and because I and most others here have taken psychedelics I will find two inexperienced persons to help complete your experiment.
 
My friend Bob, who's never done psychedelics, did the test. He's also mentally retarded from being smashed in the head with a hammer at age 4.

did the experiment. i was spot on +/- an inch or two but it isnt fair considering im surrounded by mathematicians on a daily basis and they rub off on me. i was sober, were we supposed to be on acid while doing this? ur directions dont state anything having to do with lsd. If i were tripping im sure id forget what the hell I was trying to do the moment I looked at a light or the faucet or even the mirror itself lol.
 
i havent doen the experiment yet i will one day cant now cause of reasons beyond my control, but on acid and mushies i have looked in the mirror and its awesome things go fucking crazy, one time on mushrooms my stomach wa sgetting bigger and smaller, so i took my shirt off and watched it happen, for real i thoguht i was fater all of a sudden then i realized, i tripping .

Yea i didnt understand if were meant to be on psyc's to do the experiment either. And then I thought the same thing, I will forget pretty quick haha

I did it sober and i got it nearly bang on but i still dont understand what this is about.
 
Guys im pretty sure he said don't tell him your results. In fact that part was in bold.

I'll do the experiment tomorrow when I have the space.
 
i asked someone to do this and they did.

they have not used psych's before.

im not abotu to take a test seriously when someone wont even explain how it is even the slightest bit relevant to psychedelic drug use. im sorry but you acid people are pretty crazy sometimes, i wouldbt be surprised if he was like "this totally proves the moon is made out of cheese! gravity is an illusion!!!"

without looking anyplace someone can estimate the number of floor tiles between them and themirror. u could do it eyes closed. then just estimate the size of ur floor tiles and viola u have ur distance.

thank you wood , i mean honestly i cant think of a single thing this could prove. perception is your minds eye view, not your eyes.
 
if you don't wanna take the test seriously then just dont and let the people that feel like it to do it

What's with the weirdness about not knowing what this is about? I think the point is for us to not know until it's over. I have a feeling that it's supposed to be a test as to whether LSD somehow allows us measurable access into the collective consciousness. In any case, it's not hurting anyone to have it here, nor would it hurt you to take it.

Nor would it hurt to just ignore the thread entirely ;)

I'm definitely curious to see what it's about eventually, though.
 
Although there are definitely some non psychedelic using folks who visit this forum, zophen is right in that you'll find a lot more of them if you post this in another BL forum. Not sure which would be best, though.

and yah i just assomed the alto and that word were the same mah bad ima mathematician not a linguist dayum...
 
If I look in a mirror when tripping, invariably I'm completely unaware of the glass. I then have difficulty deciding which 'me' is 'me', and where I actually am located. Which is, existentially speaking, one of the best experiments in perception I have indulged in when tripping.

Kurt Vonnegut referred to mirrors as 'leaks' into a different dimension - that accords, superficially, with my experience.

And when on mushrooms once I looked into a mirror, stuck my tongue out, and voila - a penis came out. Absolutely fascinating.

I am curious as to what your conclusion will be though. Think I've taken enough acid tests in my long life, so will pass on this one, but I think you've probably got enough psych users by now anyway, so it's not a snub.
