its oh so easy to label soemone racist when they criticise the state of aboriginal affairs.
just as easy to blame someone else for your problems. this has nothing to do with race. its a people issue. its been turned in to a race issue by the minority that dont want to get on with their lives. the ones who want to hide behind the stolen generation. like their the only people on earth that this has ever happened to. as for them smelling, we are a first world country with enough welfare facilitys to keep yourself clean. i was dirt poor once too, but you wouldnt think so.
what about people from war torn country`s who come here to settle ? the terible atrocities they have been through, the racism they cop. what do they do ? they get on with it. if racism was as big as people say it is we wouldnt have successful people like cathy freeman, gavin wanganeen, lionel rose... all great people, who didnt have chips on their shoulders. and that what it is about, the peole attitude towards what happens to them. if its bad, dont make it anyone elses business. you got no rights in that department.
the japanese, after almost being wiped out, wouldnt have become the powerhouse they are today if they sat on their backsides and whinged. our very own war veterans too, the people who paved the way to get them their "rights", did they get any help when they got home from defending the very country that these people live in ? they are sleeping in the streets too...
the maori culture, so revered in new zealand... but are you saying that they dont have issues ?
its about time that people from all walks of life took responsibilty for who they are, what they do and what they say. not hiding behind some mythical stolen generation, or psychiatric diagnosis or bad childhoods or whatever. it has come to light that the aboriginal culture involves paedophilia, that being the case, what i suggest is that if they are not happy with the way that they are living now, they can just as easily go back to pre capt cook days and live back out in the desert.
