The T.A.P.P.E.D. events so far have been OK but far from something I would rave about. I was seriously let down by the first T.A.P.P.E.D. and the people attending. This may have been due to too much Happy Hardcore being played which I tend to despise after about 10 minutes. The second T.A.P.P.E.D. was a slight improvement but still left alot to be desired.
I think the promoters of T.A.P.P.E.D. have alot of improving to do before they will be close to the professionalism and quality of the EXISTENCE and ZOOK events,(which are far from perfect) which I always seem to enjoy, especially the last EXISTENCE where Amber Savage played a flawless set.
One thing that has put me off the events of late as a whole have been some of the attendees. Towards the end of the night, people who can only be described as 'pissed fucking loser clowns' start stumbling around the event knocking into people as pissed idiots do. There has also been an influx of individuals who I will refer to as 'strokers' and 'Fanny's Sluts' who walk around the events with their chests pushed out as if the world owes them something or it's some kind of fashion show rather then appreciating the music.
I'm reminded of a phrase that left the mouths of one of these 'Fanny's Sluts' that amused me greatly, being something along the lines of "This techno, trance, rave party is sooooooooo cool and I so love the pretty glowsticks" It is my belief that these people should return to their Fanny's domain to carry on with that nonsense.
Enough of my bitter and twisted rant though. Something that you may want to keep in mind for the Easter Saturday is
PLASTIC on the Coast which I'm sure will be a good night. Any PLASTIC night is good and I'm sure this one will be no exception with both John Ferris and Bexta playing.
And just in case your wondering. I have no association with the promotion of any of the above mentioned events.
