Never fear! The next one is on the 15th of July! :)

This Friday is Nik Fish at Mbar. Free entry. It's also my birthday party there that night. Feel free to seek out the girl in the tiara and buy me a birthday drink, everyone. ;)

There's also a really awesome night at King St Hotel on the 21st of July. Rowan Blades (Progessive DJ from the UK) is having his farewell bash there. It's being organised by NEON (aka Fletch from Harbour Bar). I'm pretty sure they're planning on having a monthly guest DJ there, plus lots of great local support.

Other than that, Chinese Laundry in Sydney has Rogue Element (4th August) and Meat Katie (8th September) which I'm very excited about. :)

But in all honesty, I'm not having my party at Mbar because of Nik Fish. That was simply a coincidence. I don't even like trance (except for the odd song here and there, as with any genre really).

So, yeah. There's also the fact that Mbar is one block away from where I live. Handy for after party-party's.

Convenience ftw.

what do you mean? Not a cambridge fan? Personally the only two places i like going to in newie is the cambo and the lucky. Casual and kinda grungy and alternate as opposed to the drunk ken and barbie doll scene at fannys and frosties.... ewww

The August one is Nutshell vs Sunset actually, so it should be a pretty darn good one! (Auxilary, Kato, Robotek + Sunset Residents Steve Lind and Andreas).

i haven't been there lately but i'm sure it's nice inside. all i meant was packed clubs are always better, even if the music sux unfortunately. good music as well as crowds = memorable nights. fuck fanny's and frostbites.
