What did you do to end up in jail?

And I dont think I would favor the Amsterdam police if I went to jail while visiting there.... %)
 
Not any more. I sent her a fridge box for Christmas. Not a fridge, just the box it came in. She says it's quite roomy. I'm sending her a washer/dryer box for Easter. It will make a nice loft. You and the wifey wanna go for a visit... if you're still together that is? How're the wedding plans/wars going? ;)

It's not the weddings, man, it's the families. Separate the two, concentrate on the weddings, not the families, and you'll be ayree, mon. You'll have a lifetime of appeasing the families, so a few days/weeks/months of ignoring them in favour of concentrating on the wedding(s) won't kill them. They'll forgive you, trust me. ;)

definitely =D

if possible i'd love to be the Gauleiter responsible for the musical direction of the meetup... i know a fair few people in the european party scene, i've got webspace to host demos for DJ and live act slots, i have A & R experience, and i am a producer myself.

in order to avoid any tensions we'd need to figure out what running time we have and how many stages (one full-on and one chill-out is probably going to work out best). then i'd suggest a competition thread for DJs and live acts (i'm discounting bands at the moment, mainly because of the prohibitive cost of and various risks involved in shipping gear round the world). once people have submitted their demos we can arrange a poll / voting system to see what bluelighters want to hear... then the artistic hitler (ME!) steps in and arranges the performers in terms of style, genre, approach etc. and tries to knit together a cohesive lineup which caters for various tastes but still retains a sense of progression.

it is a pity. but the scouting mission sounds like a great idea :D
 
I'm getting married in May and baby is expected in Sep so 2009 sounds great plus my best friends mom has always offered to pay for he and i to go to europe to get more cultured, if only she knew what you all had planned. AMSTERDAM OR BUST!!!!!!
 
If you guys need any help... I'll probably live in Holland by then so can easily check things out for you!

That doesn't mean I'm going to organize all the stuff ;), but I'm very willing to help out.
