bigdayout is a great event and always have fine music, including electronica. I've seen heaps of brilliant acts - Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, J5, Crystal Method etc... and the first time i saw wetmusik was @ Bigdayout
stop complaining and get a ticket. and THC u better be comin.. i dunno how many times ive sat on the couch with that underworld dvd

lucky for me i love rock music as well. i'm sooo happy the queens of the stone age and foo fighters are out for the big day out. And the now old skool rockers Janes Addiction, that will be cool! As well as catching Kid Kenobi, xzibit, gonzales and soooo many more. I've always had an awesome day.
 
any details on tics for underworld's seperate show at the metro? like price and date they go on sale?
 
tuesday january 28. tickets on sale december 9. still no price...most likely 60-70'ish methinks...

underworld are playing at the hordern in Sydney on Jan 22nd for all those interested.
they're playing with luke slater, pnau, and some other guy I can't be arsed looking up right now. luke slater will be using final scratch.
tickets go on sale Monday 9th December. :D
to all you BDO haters - stay home. we don't want you there. BDO rocks. diversity and variety is the spice of life! snrub's mention of a 6 foot goth staying around to listen to another style of music that he wouldn't normally be exposed to is exactly what BDO is all about! I've been to 6 now and loved every single one of them. I've met some awesome friendly people who I would never have met at a rave.
I'm not going this year due to financial reasons and not really wanting to see anyone on the bill apart from underworld....but they still rock.
 
wtf is wrong with Rumba? If you're a bit of pop music fan its one of the biggest music festivals around...I'm sure a lot of people have a lot of fun at it. And that's what counts.
Also, I'm a big fan of the Big Day Out, I've been to 3 now and loved every minute. I'll probably go to both BDO and the Metro gig. I can afford it so why not?

you've got a point there nezo. I must admit I've been guilty of bagging the crap out of it as well :\ But it's just cause the ads just really make it so unappealing!!
OK I'll stop now. It'll be fun for all those who like that kind of music :)

im disappointed to hear that they are now doing separate shows in sydney and melbourne (as well as bdo), but not on the gold coast where ive already booked my flight and bought tickets to! but as someone said before, id be happy just to see them anywhere though . . .
 
Foolz!!! Tickets for the underworld gig in melbourne are on sale now!!! I have my ticket!!! mwhhahhahahahaa $64 to see some muscicall goodness!!!

ok... solved the mystery of the missing melbourne tickets. strangely, ticketek is handling the sydney sales and ticketmaster is handling the melbourne sales.
