25X-NBOMe X-APB and X-APDB to be covered by UK temporary ban.

sigh...yeah same here...i couldnt be bothered to deny it, i was greeted by homophobic chants every assembly....the teachers turned a blind eye...the twats

Fucking hell so it wasn't just me then! It felt like it at the time, and without being melodramatic has had a lasting negative impact on my ability to socialise, because I go through this phase with everyone I meet of wondering if they're going to be utter cunts too. Fortunately it seems being a complete twat is something most people (but not all) grow out of.

You can't!

Might wanna throw your weight behind some of the existing reform organisations Si Ingwe? The Transform Drug Policy Foundation are very pragmatic and can always do with a tenner and some promotion if anyone can spare either.

That's more like it, constructive! Thank-you buddy. I'm not pretending to have all the answers but I have some idea's. I am not sure traditional drugs reform organisaions are as "nose to the ground" as they need to be. In a few months we will be able to predict what will replace these soon-to-be-banned compounds. Will they?

I know someone who has campaigned very effectively against our council recently. He & I have been acquantainces for many, many years. He knows everything I know about drugs & encrouages me to get pro-active. As a complete non-drug user he finds my arguments compelling & suspects other people would too. Other non-drugs users. He is experienced with campaigns such as the one envisaged by people who want a proper political movement to support legalisation & his knowledge of social media & using it to propagate information & political activism will be indespensible. I see him tomorrow, we get together every week.

There's this big UN convention on Drugs coming. I think if we set our sights on that event we have plenty of time to formulate a strategy, work out the tactics (I have plans for shock tactics, but that's just me) & a goal. Like I said, the first thing I'd do is appeal for a rethink about the bans on both marijuana & psilocybin mushrooms on the grounds that their use rarely results in harm to the user & that the pursuit of these experiences through NPS is considerably more dangerous & results in a never-ending battle between government control & spiralling demand. Rather than stumbling blindly forward, fighting individual compounds as they appear, they should step back & reconsider previous mistakes & try to avoid repeating them.

in the day n age where gay marriage [ err sorry not trying to turn this into the homophobic trauma thread....its just a recent and i feel appropriate example of the govt's view on personal freedoms ] creates a storm is any kind of decriminalization likely ?

the general public still have very warped views regarding drugs.
the people i work with fall into the t.o.w.i.e / x-factor / immigrant hating category....in other words they are normal people.

they drink themselves stupid and snort thier 1% coke coke week in week out, but they see pill heads as 'dirty' anyone who is a bit lazy or stupid must be a pothead

fucking mongs, and daily mail types who are scared of change, books, creativity and free though....thats what we are up against

drug users are a useful port of call when the party in power wants to distract the masses or flex its muscles they ban something or increase sentences

funding treatment doesnt come into it as harm reduction is not the aim of the game, showing us plebs whos in control is

and after who will disagree when those horrible dealers want to poison our children

think of the children
for gods sake

that took ages to write....too late to quote now but im responding to the idea of campaigning for drug reform

It would be good if RC inventors were to stop trying to find the next MDMA and instead focused on novelty, creating genuinely new chemicals that make the user have new experiences. Instead of just trying to replicate and mimic the effects of banned drugs, they should create something completely new, it would be amazing and exciting, finding new categories of substances.

I want dissociative opiates, psychedelic methamphetamines, hybrid opiate/amphetamines, benzo-like cannabinoids. Obviously it would also be great if entirely new structures were to be found, things that bind to receptors in novel way and produce completely new experiences, things we can't even describe as we've never felt.

For me the best RC is mxe, I would love for more research to be done in that sense.

The thing is that there aren't really any "RC inventors". R&D is a very costly process and the facilities to perform it do not attract good attention. As a result, vendors have historically just searched medical literature for promising compounds, but this isn't sustainable and that's why we're seeing more odd and dangerous chems.

I know there is one company working real pharmaceutical R&D, but as I say, it's slow and expensive and hasn't produced any blockbusters so far. Even when it does, they will be banned pretty quickly so the investment can end up with very poor returns.

Someone was bemoaning the lack of new compounds to replace these. I can assure you that everyone was saying the same thing when Meph was banned, in a few months MDAI & APB's were on the way..! Somethings are around the corner, I'm certain of it. I just hope we find something less deadly than methcathinone or methamphetamine derivatives.

Those people described as Daily Mail readers have their thoughts & opinions directed for them by the very media by which we identify them & through which they identify themselves. If their chosen media led them to believe that in fact drug users are just like them, the majority of these cerebrally challenged sheep would simply buy it.

I appreciate the Holy Grail of HR is total legalisation Transform, but we need to fight battles, not a war. Win ground bit by bit, you can't take on the behemoth of drugs law all at once.

I wouldn't be surprised if it turned up in some random pressed pills that those 'plant food' vendors were selling. or even came pressed itself and sold as benzo fury.

Tomorrow is the last day for our beloved 6-apb! I think we should all at once just drop 150mg of 6APB and give a big 'fuck you' to the government as we all gurn our tits off!

Ha, a mate of mine is coming round tomorrow night, I've never done drugs with him before, I know he's dabbled, he loves a drink and we've been in some states together over the years he's a very successful accountant and his wife's a high-flying solicitor, I'm tempted to tempt him =D I'm seriously considering getting him on the GBL anyway! Am I a bad man?

I'm very wary about converting new followers, but when you consider that a first time user of MDMA, according to a Australian study decades ago, is 86% likely to repeat the experience, it makes me wonder if converting the entire UK population wouldn't actually be that difficult! Lol

Less than moral perhaps, but not difficult!
