23 hours in!!

Sooner, you're doing it man! And shit yeah, I live me a good BBQ to.. I'll take you up on that if I'm ever in your neck of the woods.

Kratom really does help. I'm still taking it in two gram doses here and there. I find on tiny doses it helps with pain . High doses make me dizzy now that I'm detoxed. So two grams seems to work.

Keep at it man, were cheering you on.

Sixx

You got it bro!! if you hurt some when you stop the kratom use some gabapentin to smooth you out you can always stop gabapentin a couple days after stopping kratom if you need to congrats!

I just wanted to post a word of caution for you. I had a really rough patch in life a few years ago and fell into the Trap of using heroin. I only used for about 2 months and then I smacked myself for being stupid and decided not to take any more. Of course after 2 months of use I was already physically dependent but thank God I never gained a mental dependence. I stayed clean for about a month and then I came across a constant connection for Vicodin about a hundred a month. I took those Vicodin for roughly a year and when I decided to quit I simply could not tolerate the withdrawals so I look for something to help me. What I found happened to be kratom. Unfortunately back then there were not a lot of stories of withdrawals and most posts it Kratom was not addictive. However four years later I can tell you that if you've ever been addicted to any opiate then Kratom will grab you by the balls if you're not careful with it. While many people have no withdrawals at all from kratom minor always nearly as bad as the heroin withdrawals were. I'm absolutely certain this is 90% mental but I thought I would give you a warning from my own experience. It will help greatly to help you overcome the withdrawals but the problem with it is that it's legal and cheap so after the acute withdrawals are over you have to exercise The Willpower to not use kratom anymore after. I wish you the best of luck on your recovery and if you have any questions over Kratom whatsoever feel free to contact me I'll be more than happy to tell you everything I've learned about 5 years of using.

On the money Boondock, If your using kratom for opioid wds and stay on it long enough your empty pain receptors will be more than happy to fill from the kratom, people that take kratom not for opioid replacement and not daily are the ones saying wds from kratom are not bad. Kratom is a godsend during accute wds, i still think its easier to jump from kratom after weening on it than it is jumping from opioids.

Yeah I will jump from the Kratom tomorrow and that will be after day 6! I have no desire to keep using the Kratom at all! I'm doing the "Toss and Wash" method and it sucks! I will say that it has helped me big time from days 2-5 though!

lmao i hated toss and gag method too! one tip when doing toss and wash put the spoon in the back of your throat the least coming back in your mouth the better.

I personally don't think kratom withdrawal can compare to full opioid withdrawal. I been on it almost a month and I can go 12-16 hours without, with no real symptoms besides minor ache. Try that with dilaudid.... Now if I used opiotes and kratom together for extended period I could see this complicating things.

This is all my random babbling speculations though lol

Fuck toss and wash, I found a much better way. Small plastic oj bottle. Pour 1/4 full of oj, mix kratom and shake. Drink fast. Add a little more on to get the shit stuck to the sides and your done. No taste. I just use big jugs of oj.

But I'm only taking about 2 grand at a time. Less then a level tea spoon. Once my senses came back toss and wash had to go.

Sixx I did the orange juice mix and it was ok for a while then i started to hate the taste, i didnt wanna hate orange juice after wds. I actually would rather toss and wash 2mgs that much i can spoon it way back and drop then wash with no problems its when i was dropping 6 or 7mgs was almost impossible to get down.

I hear that! When my taste buds came back I just couldn't handle that powder, plus I inhaled some... Yuck.
