Its not only the democrats fuck up, a lot of it has to do with how stupid the republican base is, you're talking about people that believe that a virgin conceived a child and dont believe in evolution. Getting them to believe in things that trump spews which aren't scientifically impossible is quite easy.

The democrat base on the other hand would be so quick to fall for such a charlatan, so had things happened the other way around, where the opposite of Nuclear Hitler (whatever that is) was the nominee for the dems, they might have had the sanity to vote for tedd cruz. I think you need to also give your party the credit that its due
 
I'd be careful guessing what a party's base might do. Mostly because people register with a party for the class and aesthetic, not the platform. Even the Evangelicals went for Trump, who was as opposite in values as you can get without running an abortionplex for Miss TeenUniverse contesants.

A lot of the anti-vax crowd gets lumped with the left for some reason. The organic anti-GMO activists, PETA, ALF, all get called left. I don't know how that fits with a leftish ideology, but it fits with class and image. A candidate who wanted to give automatic waivers to anti-vaxxers for public schools across the land, ban GMO and meat, would get a lot of votes if he drove a hybrid. She'd be gay and unitarian. She'd free Mumia Abdul Jamal, and blow up Mt. Rushmore and replace it with a living-green sustainable compost thing in the shape of Che Guevarra. Weed would be mandatory as long as it's sustainably grown. We'd all have to eat sprouts.

I admit, except for the sprouts, it would be more fun at least than Trump's fantasy made real.

you (not you specifically) have a problem with hillary sending email through an insecure server but no problem if a foreign government wants to help affect the outcome of a u.s. election because of a candidate's business entanglements.

and here was trump's claim in a july 2016 news conference: "I have nothing to do with Russia."

if there's no problem and it's not illegal or even questionable, why did he choose to lie about it?

further, trump's tax law firm recently said: "...a review of Trump’s tax returns for the past 10 years did not find income from Russian sources during that period, save for 'a few exceptions'."

assuming you're a guy, if you were married and your wife said "i had nothing to do with that guy at the club" but you later found out she actually tried to fuck him but it never happened, you'd be fine with that? i mean, that's not really a lie, right?

no matter. his finances are within the scope of the mueller investigation now so some sunshine will be cast on those and we'll find out.

The above is false- here is the Snopes report on what happened.

Taking a look at the Daily Mail Website, I found some very ridiculous articles and wondered... Snopes.com laughed at my question (please note this is a joke and should not be taken as my saying a website actually laughed) and says things like this about their aticles or site as a whole: 'The most popular version of this appeared to originate from a site called Steadfast and Loyal (although it was originally published by the tabloid Daily Mail)' I also find that a lot of the items that Liquid is fond of saying are absolute truths come from the website mentioned above, Steadfast and Loyal.

Folks: Please do a little research before repeating something you find on the web. Look into the source in particular, see if they are known for reporting facts, alternate facts, or just plane silliness. There are a lot of very official looking websites out there that have there own beliefs touted as fact.

Oh, don't even pretend to go after Snopes and other members when you link Daily Fail articles.

Also, sadly, Michael Moore is not a reliable source either.

Of the three, Snopes is by far the best choice for objectivity and accuracy.

Not the same thing. Fences in specific locations. Sort of edited material and out of context, besides these are specific issues. None of them wanted a wall, nor demanded the Mexican Government should have to pay because they are so "bad". That's hardly an argument IMO. Trump suggests that the drug problem, and immigration is all because there's no wall. That's ridiculous.

My apologies, I didn't offer directions. At the bottom of the link you will see the notes on how they made it sound as if Michael Moore said what you are linking too. It is actually very educational, and teaches us all why it is that anything can be made to sound true. While I am aware that having absolute faith in anything that I read is more than slightly gullible, I do try to figure out what the truth might be. They all get it wrong, at LEAST sometimes. However some sources try harder to not make things up. To collaborate the facts that they state. To do honest reporting. I admit (again) there are less and less of these sources available.
