2014-2015 College Football Thread Vs. Throwing down Saturday

I haven't felt a pain like this over football since that god damn junkie Eric ainge threw away the SEC championship in 07

Tennesee fan right? I caught the end of that game.. Thats a tough one to lose lol. I think I remmber the announcers saying it was the largest lead Tennesee has ever given up at home. It was a great game though, and reminded how much more exciting overtime is in college than the NFL.

There was a lot of great games yesterday. Auburn almost losing to some bum Jacksonville st team.. And notre dame winning on that final drive with their back up qb was crazy. Oregon vs Michigan St was a really good game as well

Michigan beat Oregon st easy 35-7.. Had 109,000+ in the big house rockin for Harbaugh's home debut.. Can't wait for the future when Michigan actually has an elite quarterback .. Rudock is fucking terrible

We might have the best TE in the country though in Jake Butt. He's going to be a really good player for someone in the NFL. Our safety Jabrill Peppers will be another good NFL player

Yes, Tennessee fan. That would have been a really big win for us considering the last 7 years. Oh well, I still have faith. I don't know how I feel about Butch's decision making during the games. Good recruiter, good motivator, bad play caller.

Fuck CU

I'm really proud of the fight Alabama showed tonight but we just made way too many mistakes to win the game. Exciting comeback try though. Roll Tide we will keep improving as the year goes on but a 8-9 win year with wins over Tennessee and auburn will appease me

holy shit dude I thought about you - that sucks so much

I imagine that kicker is going to get death threats?

I actually feel bad for the kid, like, actually

damn

it's crazy how many punters are Australian now, the "rugby" style punt is truly taking over the game

tOSU had an Aussie kicker for a minute

That was the worst way to lose again ever that has to be heart breaking for their fans...the future looks good but god damn thats a horrible way to go out

I can't believe what I just witnessed

Wow it sucks being on the losing side of one of the best football games of all time.

I feel your pain man. I am an Alabama fan and still cringe every time the "Kick 6" loss to auburn is brought up. On the upside Harbaugh will bring a championship the Michigan.

This LSU-Florida game has been good. Iam also flipping to the TCU game. I want LSU TCU and Ohio State to lose tonight. Lets have some upsets! Oh and Bama looked good today.

my flat screen is locked on that tOSU VS PSU game, of course, but I have been cheating and flipping back and forth to USCw VS ND and LSU VS UF

I live about 2 miles away from Ohio Stadium aka the Horseshoe; hearing the cheers after a good play about 2 seconds before you see said good play on the TV is an awesome feeling. the atmosphere here has been electric all day/night, in excitement of tOSU's 1st night game of the season. and the Buckeyes are going 100 and doing a "black out" night - where all the fans where black and our jerseys are black. meh... I hate to waste such energy on a team like Penn State, but I get the reasoning why, because those kiddy diddlers do a "white out" every single damn time the Bucks play in Happy Valley

tOSU is a program that's barbarically obsessed with tradition - that's why I'm surprised they are doing the black jerseys. I'm sure some of the older Buckeye fans are shaking in their Jim Tressel-like sweater vests. IMO the jerseys look aight (a little too much like UGA)... fact of the matter is you gotta do this stupid hype shit to win over the 15-18 y/o market that are your potential recruits

at the very least the Buckeyes are finally playing great on both O and D. I was getting sick of seeing the Bucks wallow in mediocrity every god damn game. seriously - if we play that uninspired we don't deserve to be #1 and we don't deserve to go to the Playoffs. this team is far too loaded with talent to be limp dicking around against shittier teams

I sent my dad a text saying "it's over, we lost", as UM was about to punt. By the time the message landed, State had already scored and won.

I don't watch college ball much either, but when I do, it's fucking insane.

Apparently, UM is demonstrably better with no coach at all than we were with Al Golden.

That's pretty bad.

yeah, the Al Golden Era went South quickly. I have a feeling it's the same with Florida as it is with Texas - too many other options for your talent to go to

that being said I do wish the Canes the best. college football is better when they're competing

Floored by the news that Gary Pinkel will be resigning at the end of the season, though it's for the best as far as he's concerned. I didn't know he already had multiple treatments for his lymphoma. Hope he can beat it.
