I dont agree with the people who say a 16 seed college football playoff would water down the regular season
you know huge amounts of people would tune into the games anyway, and its definitely not "useless" for all but the major powerhouses like Alabama and Oregon because if you lose two games you very well could be on the outside looking in depending on who you lost to and it would open the door for smaller conference schools to actually have a chance, however small, to win the champ.
if the Big 12 had a conference championship game, whoever won between Baylor and TCU would have replaced Ohio St. Buckeyes lucked out there
I see a FSU / Oregon national title game.
and hopefully FSU wins back to back to shut everyone up who didnt even want them in the playoff when all they did was win 24 straight games or something.
its like college football made a baby step to a better system, but wound up conveniently having 4 major national fanbase schools in the playoff anyway. how.... expected.
gimme a 16 team playoff or its all a farse.
