2013 PGA tour thread v. Strike a pose, Lefty

i don't like how he media acts like dufner's personality is so unique

so, he's nothing like matt kuchar, okay....good

it appears to me the way he presents his body language and interviews, he's really not much different than most guys on tour who are not 'bags
 
I dunno. I think he's prob just a chubby sec frat kid that likes pounding coors banquets and eating bacon sandwiches when he's not fucking his hot wife
 
i've seen his wife

compared to most golfers of his skill, his wife is very, very average

i feel like some golfers probably hire an escort saturday night if they are within a few shots of the leader

Looking forward to WGC match play starting tomorrow. Not everyone's cuppa but I love it. Hope Lowry puts Rory in a camel clutch and then chokes him out on the 16th green when he beats him. I've backed Kaymar at 40/1 and something was telling me to back Kuchar too. So I did.
 
match play event might be my favorite sporting event of the year

i'm pissed my man has to play chickenscratch's boy david toms in the first round

watney is generally a good match play golfer, has made it to the sweet 16 last 2 years and beat tiger last year

IIRC toms lost in first round last year vs a not a very quality opponent

plus watney has played pretty well so far this year, toms, not so much

just filled out my bracket for pool i'm in, final four - dustin johnson, sergio, westwood, watney.....watney over garcia in finals, on my birthday :)

the whole thing is such a crap shoot....
 
I thought it didn't rain in Arizona, chucking it down now.

Kuchar is cruising 3 up, 4 to play. Kaymar the cockhead 1 down now after 4. Coetzee is a dangerous opponent.


Sergio must be on the happy pills today, he's started well.

dusstin johnson 4dn thru 9 vs a no namer, can't have that

watney 2up thru 9 vs toms, winner to face stricker next, nothings easy
 
McIlroy gets told to jog on by Big Shane. Poor game but Lovin Shano's win.

Some upsets alright but DJ has been woeful for a month and Alex Noren is decent enough. I can see him beating McDowell

The Gooch will need to putt like a dream again to beat Sergio for me and Kaymar will be solid.
 
holy shit thru 17 watney and stricker are both playing excellent!

watney was down all match, was 2 down thru 14, just tied it at #17

he's got 5 birds and 2 eagles and is only tied, he would have killed most of the field today

stricker made 7 birdies, and a good 5 outs over 15 ft

winner faces a red hot piercy who dominated luke donald

Go on Shane Lowry you legend! Another cracking display today even though the skysports cunts only showed him 5 times. Lowry Gmac tomorrow.

Kuchar and Kaymar move on. Colsaerts tomorrow is a real test though. Very tough match.

Stricker's only playing 11 events this year.

Thank you man. You'll be back there soon no doubt, 49ers have the team in place to challenge for the next few championships. That was our best chance to win it again. Thankfully we got hot and took it.


36 holes today. Kuchar 3 up after 7 but Kaymar 2 down after 5 to Hunter.

Feel it's the end of the road for Big Shane Lowry.

Garrigus is currently getting destroyed by Kuchar. Kuchar's 4 up and about an hour away from making me some cash. If he wins i'll probably piss my pants, clean myself up and go buy some crack.

How the fuck did the US leave Hunter Mahan out of the Ryder Cup? In this matchplay comp now last year included, he hasn't been behind in 140+ holes of golf. Hope he wins, wipes the floor with Poulter and Kuchar takes him down. Booom!
