2013-2014 Football Thread v.3 - Come on You Hull

United are 8th but only 2 points off 2nd currently, strange season! I refuse to believe cleverly is ever going to improve as a footballer, he plays like hes scared. All of the game just thinking FUCKING RUN FORWARDS, but nope he passes sideways, backwards.. anyway but forward. I think Rooney must be thinking what is he doing playing with such a useless bunch half the time. We need a goal scoring/holding midfielder... and a decent winger. Valencia is regaining some form but he is so one dimensional its really not funny. He can beat a man and pass but thats it, he can only shoot directly forward as hard as he can in a straight line. Kagawa is not a winger (still not really 100% proven in the PL, very easily shaken off the ball), Young is terrible, Nani is worryingly shit half the time. We need to start playing Rafael at RB again when he is fit, missing his energy and runs down that side, other than thats... all good . :D Jones out for our game vs Everton so it looks like Fellaini and Giggs combo, cleverly do sent deserve to be in the side after that.

Liverpool losing though, always a silver lining. Southampton and Swansea win and I can rest easy otherwise Im making a henry w trip.

Kyle walker is rapid, though running into a Serbian wall is not the best option,

I think I am finally over last night, a slaughtering of newcastle will only help. Though Rooney is suspended, Van Persie is a doubt, so who to rely on? Kagawa and Hernandez up front it seems, we can hope for top 4 now thats all I ask. Dont panic buy in January Moyes please, wait till next season, we can just forget about this one.

I am sure you are all loving this. :D I feel like a liverpool fan.
 
I've only just seen the goals from Suarez for Liverpool last night, first one was pure class especially.

Brimz will tell you I confidently predicted Man Utd's demise before the season began. I dunno, maybe everyone did, but I ain't seen it.

Daily Mirror back page was good today. Moyes finally helps Everton win at Utd after 11 years of trying. Something like that.

Ouch, tough group. Our first game right out in the Amazon with 99% humidity sometimes, I think the Mayor of the city already said the english are not welcome after roy hodgsons comments :sus:. Our first match at 2 in the morning on a Saturday, tough group but I have high hopes as always.

Basically this stadium is right in the middle of the Amazon and Roy said a few days ago "going there would be the worst possible destination", think he took it to heart and basically would prefer a team with a little more respect and a less idiot of a manager.

I think we will still go through, apart from the front line of Uruguay they are mildly average, Italy too have to play in the conditions so could be a funny game, possibly 2 draws then a win over costa rica and go through with 5 points.
 
Well done to Stoke City for beating Chelsea today, bit of a shock for them.
Also good to see Ipswich Town get another victory,having a nice little run of wins for a change.
 
I guess Man U fans must be pretty pissed off at the mo the way things are going.
Teams can now play them and feel they have a good chance of getting a decent result against them whereas before they would consider themselves lucky to get anything out of the game.
I'd be interested to know what Fergies true thoughts are about the way things are going at the moment.
 
Yes,my flatmate is an Arsenal fan so he was chuffed with todays results which were good for Arsenal,just could have done with Liverpool losing or getting a draw.
Arsenal just need to concentrate on trying to keep keeping and hoping the other teams behind them slip up.
