@ CSW since Daglish took over he has shipped out 19 players.only 2 of woy hodgsons and 3 of the 14 signed by rafe facts in his last 2 years.

£30 million off the wage bill.they will pay 60% of joe coles wages while he is on loan.plus pay off to a number of others who left.
imo it was a mistake to get rid of Meireles.

I see where you're coming from with Meireles, I rated him as I've said earlier but he handed in a request and I'm a firm believer that if a player doesn't want to be at a club just let him fuck off.

In retrospect I would have preferred 8mil and Yossi back.

Opening up bluelight and reading all this chat about celtic and henrick larsson- it was like being a 13 year old boy again reading a scud book for the first time. :)

Ive been away from Glasgow now for nearly 3 months and ive not had the opportunity to watch celtic in action; so reading about them on bluelight was a welcome surprise.

On the subject of Larsson- I heard about a celtic man utd charity match and old henrick still managed to score a peach of a goal. The guy could still be playing for celtic and scoring (in the spl). I remember the day he left the club; scored 2 against dundee utd and he was in tears after the game. So glad he went on and won the european cup with barca.

But still doesn't hide the fact that technically they were not good enough at playing football to Qualify n that is a shame.

I kinda agree with this. We were beaten on the football park in a fair match. We aint accustomed to that in the spl. =D

Fuck it though its much needed revenue and a chance for a new team to get experience in Europe.
 
I'll never forget the few months Henrik was on loan at United either. It was like a really good fling; the kind where you just fuck each other all the time, bar the occasional walk to the offy or the park. :)

The revenue is the most important thing for Celtic right now, agreed. Let's hope it gets spent wisely.
 
What do we rekon then on The England game tonight ? Shame the taffs haven't got Bellamy n Ramsey , always better when Nations can put out their best teams .
I'm not gonna predict cos i haven't backed it up with a bet thus i would be pissed if it comes through.

Nope I went straight to the pub lol what a bastard! And watching england again was dreadfull, when your used to watching utd every week then you watch england struggle at home to wales its pretty embarrasing, we havent got any better since the world cup looking at that game, I keep saying no point getting my expectations up then as soon as it gets to the euro im all in england boner mode...

Other than the highlight of the entire game was Roy Keane's on-pitch half-time analysis with AC/DC's Highway To Hell blasting out over the tannoy. =D
 
I see the Biggest game of the weekend is in The Championship .
This is the one that really matters Millwall V West Ham , the met pigs just love this fixture its so peaceful like. all love n mutual respect
 
Just finished listening to West Ham , n couldn't believe that Arsenal were losing to Blackburn , saw the last 10 minutes and they had about 6 good chances all of them squandered or saved , what know for the Gooners ?

Id like to see ye back in the top flight too.

Some day for sport tomorrow. Rugby world cup, Chelsea - United, Pool - Spurs and the All Ireland Final, Dublin - Kerry brilliant!

Ill see just about fuck all of it but im still excited =D
