2011-2012 football thread

Good point how many eadders go to games every second week as active supporters rather than passive sky consumers, tv packaged football bores the hell out of me, fat cunts in replicas on barstools shouting at a tv about a team from a city they nowt about depresses me.

good job im skinny dont wear a replica and like to stand up at the bar then.guilty of shouting the odd time.

One man's terrorist is anothers hero... Have two friends from Pais Vasco, and have spent time in some villages near San Sebastian. Feel for them, as I have traveled literally through all of Spain, studied there for awhile, and can say that it is almost like a different country there, fuck the language (Euskara) has non Latin or Greek origin, go figure... Oh well a discussion for another time not in this thread.

I detect some hostility in this post and i think it is directed at me .

Bastard.. Bastard.. had wigan game @ both teams to score, united over 2.5 goals and swansea win at like 7/1 in a treble, was gonna win like 760 .. fucking customers,, internet kept going down on my phone, anyway top of the league, been here enough times can handle the pressure, theres going to be alot mroe points dropped here and there thought so..

yeah i gathered that also came across pro fukin bombing people for the sake of it .

You said

thats a pretty harsh statement for a football thread.

Saw a couple of games at Anfield in January, the draw with Man City that got us to the Carling Cup final and the sweet
FA Cup victory over Manure, both enjoyable games with the right results!

Attending the merseyside derby tomorrow and the FA Cup quarter final v Stoke on Sunday. Everton are in good form however and have not lost in 9, whereas Liverpool have lost their last 3. Form goes out of the windows in derbies though so anything could happen, always a top atmosphere though for these.

Used to get to a lot of games back in the 80's but only usually manage 3 or 4 a year now due to distance / time / skintness etc.

"Absolute nonsense, there is no such thing as "player power" going on in the Chelsea dressing room" says John Terry as he organises the back four from the Chelsea touchline and admires Drogbas new oscar.

Delighted the Chelsea Physio didnt get the sack with AVB. She's the only thing I can tolerate at Chelsea.

As for ITV's footy coverage, Jesus wept!

jesus chelseas physio... she was hired for one reason only, drogbas dive was a fucking disgrace.

Oh fuck yes Chelsea! I'll take a fotunate penalty too. Bring on the quarters. I am hoping for either Madrid or Barce, if we are going to bow out I want it to be against a decent team.

I don't see them progressing much further and I really want as many excuses as possible to clear out the dead wood before the fair play rules take effect. Drogba should be a nice carrot for any club and he deserves a golden handshake for his services.

Poor Fabrice :( hope he makes a full recovery

Take one look at his twitter account and the most recent "image/thought of the day" he posted seems appropriate in the circumstances.

"you never know how STRONG you are until being strong is the only choice you have"

What about Messi eh? All time top Barca scorer and only 24. 8 hatricks in a season already lol.

Fukin West Ham they never fail in making their fantastic supporters go through all types of emotions and always do things the hard way .

I wouldn't have my Club any other way.

IRONS<3

Yeah Bristol City better win that as they are the only Championship Club close to me , they wiil be playing West Ham soon i have already pre booked tickets.

Biggest game of the season for the Irons 2mora Reading . Whoever wins if it ain't a draw will get the auto promotion spot i think.
