Nice one fair play to you! I've a lot of saving to get there yet but 3 great games to look forward to. At least a draw is required from that first game with the Spanish up next.
 
So UTD and City both playing thursday night football on channel 5, great id rather we were just not in the tournament really and concentrate on the other 2 cups, UTD didnt really deserve to go through anyway weve had some shocking results latley, we dominated but just couldnt find the net, if we had a full strength team though I think it would have helped, too many injurie.s
 
It's pretty funny Rooney is thought of as one of the best in the world when he misses chances like that. He is just not an out and out striker.

Just watching the highlights now so I can see the other games.
 
Fucking hilarious night of football. Both Mancs out! Fergies face at the end caused me no end of amusement. And especially after listening to Utd fans all week giving it to Pool fans after Mondays shambles.

Utd were a complete shambles all through this group stage and got what they deserved, a go at one of the most embarrassing competitions in football. Utd really have no midfield at all and no defence now the main man Vidic is gone. Old Whiskey cheeks is losing it big time.

Hes a great player but not a number 9. Hes a 10 but he is going through one of his attrocious spells. He has one every season. What a sitter tonight! Fair play to Basel.
 
Nani is still some player. Although I don't like United most of what your saying is rubbish really, Liverpool aren't exactly having a cracking season are they? You just sound like a typic scouse who hates united :D

They still have a decent team and are still odds on to win the league at the moment IMO. They are not playing the fantasy football though.

So wait, Utd didnt make a balls of the CL? Im talking rubbish?? Yet you still think Utd are odds on to win the league. Haha good one! I dont follow Liverpool, i follow Spurs but the way Utd fans were carrying on after Fulham won or after most games its nice to give them some back.

Utd got the easiest group by far in the Champions League and fucked it up. They shouldve lost to Basel at home, then lost away, drew with Benfica twice and needed 2 pens to beat the worst team thats ever been in the competition.

Ferguson played a centre half and 2 wingers in centre midfield tonight, then brought Evans on for Vidic? Rooney hasnt scored a goal from play since September, when they played 4 good games. Other than theyve been pretty awful. City are odds on.
 
obviously loving city AND united qualifying...for the EUROPA LEAGUE, haha! I love it even more that AVB decided to the abolish the high defensive line and the drogba of old came back in a time machine and was on fire. I also love the fact that united and city have been drawn to play each other so early in the FA cup. And I also love that liverpool lost to fulham. Been a great week of football for me! ;)

Just hope it continues and we beat city on monday, which is very unlikely (but we looked damn good against valencia). I'm sure they'll win the league, but I hope it's not too easy for them.
 
Forest vs Palace tomorrow. Forest lost three in a row, scoring in none of them and conceding 4 goals at home to an average Leeds side in the middle of that run.

Palace are 3/1 to win, worth a few pennies if you're a punter. :(

I freeze my ass on the terrances following second division football almost every week. I still enjoy watching the big teams at night though
 
i'm watching Atletico Madrid next week K.O is at 12:00 they are Plating Real Betis , who i've seem before a few seasons ago against Malaga.

Well lokkin forward to it , tbh i would rather watch them than Real as i prefer Football Clubs over money making corporations .

As i mentioned elsewhere thiswill be my 9 th La liga ground and 12th Spanish ground i've watched a match at .

Lat one was Espanyol i their brand new stadium they beat Racing Santandaer 4- 0

On the home front massive game Swindon v Bristol Rovers , Swindon are unbeaten in 13 games Di canio has got hem playing some graet footy.

Also good to see Bristol City having a revival , McInnes has been fantastic at getting the most rom the squad.

I saw it. But i couldnt pull the trigger. I've banned myself from betting on the minefield that is the Championship.

@RLP Forest v Palace

Good shout, poor old Stevie Cotterill, he started in management with us, I remember us bottling a League cup final against Shels but he got us third in the league. Too nice a fellah for this bullshit modern game.

Sligo Rovers are not the only former Coterill team doing well Chelters Town 5 wins in a row beating the league leaders today.

Having been to all but a couple of Forest games this season, it amazes me how often the bookies misjudge us. I earned a few quid on Leeds to beat us (although never thought we'd be THAT bad) and after being humiliated by them at home they only had Brighton as 6/5 to beat us at the Amex - bonkers! Quids on.

Four games in a row now I've made money betting on Forest to lose. Although I'd be tempted to have a flutter on us to beat Brizzle City next week if our odds slide...

I dunno about that, Stevie looked very baffled on TV tonight, sneaking feeling he has lost the dressing room, ye must be near relegation zone now.

Nice one, nothing better than being at the games too to get a real idea how badly things are going! I do follow the Championship pretty closely but ive had my fingers burned so many times with that League its ridiculous. Even that Barnsley game tonight. 2-0 at halftime against Ipswich and they lose 3-5. Im sure that ruined many coupons today.

Cotterill started pretty well too but ye're on a serious slide now. 2 years in the playoff semis, it would be tragic if this continues. Im sure McClaren didnt help Cotterills cause one bit.

Had Ipswich down to win which was a very pleasant surprise after half time!

Dunno what's going wrong to be honest. It's the nuclear of the side that finished six last year but with a different captain. We've had a couple of injuries but the performances have been dreadful. Be lucky to survive when anything less than top six would have been classed as a failure four months ago.
