Just a little???

A-Rod lit up the vaunted Steel Curtain for 383 yards and 3 tds's when they last played.
And he is twice the player now compared to the last time these teams met.

Granted Rapistburger rolled for 503 yards in that game, but this is a different Packers D, very impressive so far, and Woodson looks like he is 24 and not 34

Game may be close, but the sheer athleticism for Rodgers will extend enough plays to let them come out on top.

20-14 GB is my bold prediction.

Your delusional. The steelers defense was no steel curtain last year. It gave up lead after lead and infact relied on Ben throwing the ball to win more than anything. The steelers defense is better this year too and is very capable of holding the packers to less points than the bears did. Not to mention the steelers offense is about 5 times better than what the bears was.

The packers played a very crappy bears team and with all due respect, the steelers had better competition last week. Anything can happen.

yeah, haha

Green Bay eek'd a win over a shitty Bears team that went through their 3rd string QB

imagine if the NY Jets played the Steelers with their 3rd string QB??

hahaha! the raep would be hilarious. I would really feel bad for the guy, really

and the Pittsburgh Steelers, the perpetually favorite team of Snoop D-O-double-G

Lol, I think the bears should get a little more credit than that.

As for GB...Winning in philly, Atl, and now Chicago is impressive, GB beat Philly twice in thier backyard this year, and Chicago beat the Jets so I wouldnt say they are terrible, they scored 38 on the Jets, ie 14 more than your "5 times better" offense managed.

AXL, The Bears didnt come into the game thinking " yeah we will use hanie today" credit must be given to the Packers D for knocking the first 2 out of the game.

Either way it figures to be one of the better SB's of recent years, well on paper anyways.

I don't think the Bears were very good

they were one of those teams that were great in spurts (offensively and defensively)

however, teams like those (that are good in spurts) never quite make it to the SB (as we all witnessed)

it was obvious sooner or later "Decent" Jay Cutler was going to de-evolve into "Bad" Jay Cutler. well in this case "I Quit" Jay Cutler

They were easily the weakest team of the 4 last weak by a LARGE margin. They had no chance at beating GB, Pittsburgh or the JETS last week. They looked HORRIBLE. Even the losing jets are easily a tier above what the bears where. Im not trying to take away from green bays defense, it is good, but they really werent challenged to badly least week. Bears offense sucks and that team was obviously carried by their defense this year.

I would like to spew hatred about the Green Bay Packers, but I can't

this SB will be everything it is hyped to be. GB, much like Pittsburgh, is known for being a classy, efficient, and well-run organization from top-to-bottom. they treat their players the right way, and if their players whine and want more and more money then they are sent home packing (other teams should take note, like the Cincinnati Bengals)

we as current NFL fans have been spoiled with great Super Bowls lately (NY Giants VS Patriots, Steelers VS Cards, Saints VS Colts) and I do believe and hope that this SB will be just as climactic

I just hope that the Steelers win their unprecedented 7th Vince Lombardi trophy!!

and that was not a good Super Bowl, how?!?!

hopefully you are on drugs or confused, so I will resist ripping apart your simple response

but just let me remind you that although the epic Steelers had a large lead at the end of the half; the Cards were positioned to overcome one of the largest deficits in SB history

remember the insane 4th quarter that Larry Fitz had? I think in the 4th quarter alone he amassed over 100 yards

need I also remind you about the SB record-breaking 100 yard interception return for a TD that James Harrison so masculinely achieved?

or how about Big Ben cementing himself into SB lore and allowing himself to be placed in the same breath as John Elway as a QB who leads 4th quarter comebacks

remember that epic, come-from-behind, game-winning drive captained by Big Ben? or how about one of the best clutch catches in SB history, made by WR Santonio Holmes at the corner of the end zone - to cement the NFL leading 6 SBs for the Pittsburgh Steelers?

I think people like you assume that since the SB had the relative new kids on the block, the Arizona Cardinals, that for some reason that the SB wasn't as great as it was

let's not forget how the Cards were firing on all cylinders in the playoffs, and would have beat any other AFC team. they just couldn't get past the Steelers - who prove that when they are in the playoffs, they win (unlike Peyton's Colts or even hilariously recently Brady's Cheatriots)

but didn't, because of 4 personal fouls called on arizona in the last 20 minutes, and then the continuing suspect call where:

With 18 seconds left, Warner prepared to attempt a Hail Mary pass, but linebacker LaMarr Woodley forced a fumble while sacking Warner, which defensive end Brett Keisel recovered, giving the ball back to Pittsburgh with five seconds left. Many Cardinals fans wanted the play to be reviewed for a possible incomplete pass, but the play was never reviewed.

The Arizona Cardinals are a professional football team based in Glendale, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. They are currently members of the Western Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The Cardinals were founded in 1898, and are the oldest continuously run professional American football club in the United States.

i think you trolling man

Correction Cutler looked terrible...not the Bears.

GB might have seemed to have the defense on it's toes but considering the bad field position they were getting they did alot to keep GB to 21 points.

Anyways, go Steelers!

i think you trolling man

I would say you are trolling. just because another has a different (and correct) perspective, doesn't automatically make their opinion a troll opinion

at the very least, I have the comfort of knowing that the majority (if not all) sports journalists agree with my opinion; not the opinion of PB (and I guess your opinion now?)

just check out FOXSports.com, and look under their list of 10 Best SBs of All Time

I believe the SB that I so gracefully recounted for you is perhaps the #5 or #6 spot

that is if you only want to go by sources as to the reason why I am correct, and the scoff, which was so precariously misplaced, is in the wrong

The fumble at the end of superbowl 43 WAS reviewed during the stoppage of play. The review booth looked at it and deemed it a fumble. Even the announcers had gotten word it was reviewed during the telecast. It just happened so quickly nobody picked up on it.

It was very simular to Sanchez's fumble last week where his arm was moving foward but the ball never did.

4 Personal fouls on arizona? I highly doubt it. I do remember they had Running into the Holder, which is a rare penalty.

I will simply add that the Cards had a QB named Kurt Warner against the Steelers in that SB. He seemed to be a pretty good "game managing QB" who took 2 different teams to the SB. :|

That being said, blaming the officials for a loss shows bad sportsmanship and the inability to face the fact that your team just didnt have what it takes to win a game. If you ask me if I'm still sore about the Steelers loss to the Cowboys in SB XXX I would say yes and they lost not because of any referee questionable calls. They simply lost to the better team (although I will argue that Steeler QB Neil O'Donnell was a secret plant for failure in that game as I sure hope Larry Brown gave him a nice % of the ill advised big contract money he never lived up to the hype in getting for those "interceptions" he made in that game. ;)). The good thing is that since then, the Cowboys have been a mess and the Steelers continue to win win win.

Anyway, I would be surprised if this game is anywhere near the December 2009 game these 2 teams played. My biggest concern as a Steeler fan is if Pouncey cannot play. That is a huge loss for them. Rajii will probably make Lagursky retire before the game is over. lol

^ that is pretty awesome, lol

Rodgers may have all the cute fantasy yards, but I'll take Roethlisberger's SB's trophies any day over them stats
