i've been thinking europe for a while now, and this would be a nice day or two out of a two-week holiday across the ocean... gives me a few years to get some of my local travel out of the way as well.

so yeah, put me in.

It's kind of complicated. There is a list of countries that dont require Visas to travel to another country ...the US and Britain for example. But if you're from parts of South East Asia and wherever else, a visa per country is required and has an expiration date. If it expires and you're not home yet, you're fucked.

How so? Does some agent come and ram one into your ass? Are you hunted down, hung and put on public display? Or are you just sorta out of the country for good?

so if one can save $30 a month for three years without touching his/her (bl meetup acct.) you should have $1080 saved , what is around trip ticket from say NY to Amsterdam going for ? :\

I just tried booking a round trip flight from Chicago to Amsterdam on travelocity for next March (you can only book 330 days in advance) and the tickets were roughly $720-800 US. Any flight you book is going to be cheaper the earlier it gets booked, but it seems pretty hard to estimate what flights are going to cost in 2009.

do we get to wear one of these too ? ;)

:D I would hope that with 3 more years of maturity, at least SOME of the people here will figure out how to save up some money by then...

My god, people. Can't you just try to squirrel away $20 a week? It's not that hard.

We need The Sara and Chrissie Show too!

Hmmm...I'm gonna start looking for Pho places...

:D

We could always charter a small cruise ship and bum around the Carribean for a week...or Costa Rica. International waters anyone? No fuzz. No problems.

cruises are for old people, and a small one wouldn't have a swimming pool. and it would be hard to sneak all the dr00gs onto it, wouldn't it?

and I think all the nangs would make that puppy sink :(

hehehe, "sinkpuppy"
