I think so many people were turned on due to certain overseas sources beginning to carry that and 5-MEO-DMT on a regular basis.

Lots of people are too lazy to do their own extractions.

I think it was do to Tribe.net and DMT for the masses. seriously anyone who can bake a cake could make DMT.

I haven't seen any major upsurge of DMT availability, popular awareness, nor any breakthroughs in extraction techniques in 2007 as compared to previous years since 2000.

I wonder if a scientific study of this could be done by looking through the PD Archives. %)

then you dont follow the circut. On tour DMT has been more and mre available, but honestly it's not anything good, usualy some oily yellow wax that still smells like naphtha. Iv never bought it but always curious as to what others may be churning out!

People that eschew society and spend all their time following around old jam bands aren't really representative of the general population though... pretty far from it. Even if those circles were completely saturated I don't think it would do much as far as exposing a lot of people to it. DMT has always been avail to people way into that sort of thing.

the general population doesnt smoke DMT nor do they take rolls or LSD. but Im mroe then willing to bet the general NON internet oriented psycheelic users do. So yeah, Id say it is a good representation. Where else can you go and find a steady supply besides these types of gatherings?

Iv said it time and time again, LSD follows music, yes there are a few people who get sheets/vial/crystal mailed to them and who the hell knows what they do with it, but the majority follows music, same with all psychedelics the same is said with DMT, why do you think after big festivals more posts about LSD appear rather then say fall when not much in that way is going on? Id hate to put the scene out there so much but it practicly controls the market. It doesnt take someone to even tour, that just shows you the broader spectrum, some people only go to a show taht is a few miles away, but while there they score and bring it back to there town where it trinkles on down the line.

DMT is becoming alot more prevalent in some sub culture communities (im sure most of you know what im talking about )
from there the dmt will spill out into the mainstream.

And this year i have come across more ppl who have smoked, want to smoke or heard of dmt than i have in past years, tho it has been around for many years if you knew where to look.

picked up some yellow wax chunks at a certain festi in WV.
got the job done. increased my interest in DMT.
ocrourse purer crystal is much more pleasant to smoke.

The first time smoked DMT was in late 2007. However, I have taken Moclobemide + Mimosa many times before. DMT was the primary active ingredient in those experiments. However, I answered "in 2007" to this poll because I assumed it meant relatively pure DMT without any other substances.

Google trends result for volume of searches for dmt, mescaline, lsd, ecstasy. DMT is also apparently an abbreviation for a steroid. So DMT and mescaline seem relatively unknown still to the general population.

I know I've said it on here, that 2007 was a very special year, spiritually, for me and I think a lot of other people on Bluelight. There was something very special in the 'air' from march-june (for me at least).

I agree. march-june were ridiculous.
The LSD was fucking unstopable - cheap, powerful, pure, FLOWING
the atmosphere was love, all love.
things were good.

July was a sticky-ass month though,
alot of good kids ran into alot of trouble...
things got weird on my scene...
