I have not tried to force you to include anything, and am personally insulted that you would make such a statement. The guidelines you set for the first round were followed. You didn't like how it turned out. That was your issue, but doesn't change the fact that the rules were followed. I have simply tried to give you advice and feedback for a successful contest. For whatever reason you take that in a negative way.:\

and you know what? talking down to me only makes me irate, especially when its full of shit. people dont like my reactions because im honest. my honesty leads to my being insulted, and then i lose it. its pretty simple.

step back and read the thread. people don't like your reactions because you're defensive, abrasive, and argumentative, not because you're honest. Honesty has nothing to do with it. You readily admit that you 'lose it'. That's not a good thing and doesn't lead to positive outcome.

i dont think photoshop is as "legit" as slab work with clay, or even drawing with pastels. this opinion warrants insults? i HAPPENED to make the freakin thread. ANNNNNNND theres another designed specifically for them and the 'pseudo art' of photo editing. its just MY opinion.

i think some OTHER people need to chill.

exactly. it's your opinion. your opinion shouldn't dictate everything. take feedback from what the community wants; be open to it instead of trying to fight it.

Seriously, I love the idea of getting an art forum back. I love the idea of seeing everyone's work, and seeing so many mediums. This, however, is not the way an art forum is going to come to exist, and only makes people hang their heads and give the idea up because people can't work together. Sad.

for once swallow your pride and lets just see if this works out with this setup, the rules are NOW set, the contests are NOW in play.. SO LETS FUCKING LEAVE IT BE

we dont need 4 pages of petty arguing.. none of it matters anyway.. plus im tired of SO being a fucking mess, all everyone does here now is argue, this does not contribute to the forum in any way shape or form

I support everything wesmdow has said. I'm not dissing digital art as an artform at all. In fact i find it quite difficult myself as i'm not very technical but i totally get what she means about classic art. There is already a photo thread!!

haha thats all i wanted.

i officially apologize for being a dick to everyone i pissed off.

no more arguing, deal. im not gonna make excuses for it, i was out of line in much of what i said.

i agree with blissful. its set. lets see how it goes. all complaints via PM to respective thread starter.

ive almost got all mine ready!
