PEOPLE!-we are the future. soon enough the younger generations will take over, and we will take what we know, and throw it in the mix of life to make things better, and other things worse, but when talking about the "drug-war" its almost over. No winner, no loser, just pointless. People will be people with or without laws. Dont put laws on things that dont pertain to the constitution. As in freedom of life. Celebrate life however u want.

If yall interested, the one dude (Randy,the one who got 2.5) is lookin at the possiblity of a halfway house in June or July, where hell be able to serve out the rest of his sentence. :) I visited him in jail and he doin good.

I agree 100%. This kind of bullshit pisses me off! The kid should break out and kill those fuckers. Fucking pigs! Ten Years is hell. There is no freedom in US jails. No literature, No smokes, no drugs, no sex, not even music and a bunch of Christian crack-heads and alcoholics. Bust the Rapists and the crackheads because they are just a waste of space.
 
Yea, there is literature actually. alot of the jails have libraries, and (in most of the prisons in NJ at least) you can send as many books as you want to inmates as long as they are shipped direct from amazon.com so they know no one messed w/them. the other shit you are mostly right on....except there is sex because there are conjugal visits......There is TV everyday and many jails rent movies once a week..........Jail still sucks but some of the shit you said is plain wrong....just my 2........mexican jail or some third world european jail is alot worse. it dont make it any less of a cage, just sayin.
 
There wasn't even alot of drugs envolved in the bust. I can't believe its a ten year sentence for having such a small amount. I hate undercovers
 
Just in case yall didnt notice or didnt read thru the whole thread, the sentence was ten years, but with parole eligibility after 2.5 and 3 years respectively.....Basically means if youre good you get out serving only %25 of the original sentence. :)

yeah, thats still 2 1/2 years though for what i can't see as being a crime in anyway (though it's still better than ten years, which is just fucking obscene; one of my mates got 3 years for 3 kilos of coke for fucksake).

i know someone who recently got 2 years (so 1 if he's a good little boy) for shoving a broken beer bottle through somones face. that's a crime; there is a victim who will be scarred for life. selling a few hits of acid? the only victim i can see in this equation is the kid who got sent down.

parts of the US need to sort their drugs laws (and moral stances in general) the fuck out.
 
So I could have 5 or 10 grams or crystal lsd and get less time, cause it doesn't touch the 100 gram weight.

He was selling a decent sized amount in a school zone though. BUT THIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE 10 FUCKING YEARS!

There should be a law that the amount of LSD one is punished for includes the fucking weight of the paper. LSD-25 is measured in micrograms! Jesus Fucking Christ. Think if he had them dropped on sugar cubes???

If I didnt ahve a at of the DMt molecule on my wrist I would to go to the court house and have a talk with some judges and see where these sentinces come from. and what the hell is up with the amount of prison time people get now? does prison senstences go up with inflation? nick sands only got 7 years for fucking manufacturing god knows how much LSD..... errr granted nick sands is a saint it still isnt fair. Im so furious its getting ahrd to see.

I'm hoping the school zone had something to do with the absolutely bogus sentence. I know at least half a dozen people who have spent less than a year in prison for possession/distribution of 7g-15g of crystal meth so 10 years for LSD is absolutely fucking absurd IMO. I guess I need to be careful this summer when the Sunshine comes through..... Still baffled and very agitated that LSD and methamp. have even remotely similar consequences...
