Yeah it was only a few years ago apparently, I think it was on the BBC.

And yeah YPDH it does have a transparent head! He looks a little bit depressed to me. Maybe he's been on a massive speed bender or somethin!

It has a transparent head of sorts:

It is recognized for a highly unusual transparent, fluid-filled dome on its head, through which the lenses of its eyes can be seen. The eyes have a barrel shape and can be rotated to point either forward or straight up, looking through the fish's transparent dome.

Amazing creature. It's mental how we know more about space than we do of our deepest of oceans. It's likely one of the most fascinating places to study.

Cuttlefish are delicious...

Love catching them too, never really fished for them deliberately, but sometimes when we out fishing over wrecks you pullthem up, the colours ripple, and they squirt a load of water at ya....

Squid are great too. also big colourful ripplers when they come up, go squid fishing at Dawn or Dusk in May, it'sgreat!

I don't know how to post photos or links on my phone, but if you've seen blue planet you might have seen that fish that has it's own red light that it uses to find other fish to eat because the other fish can't see red light! Brilliant natures inventions! Don't know if that make sense as I'm a little fuckered

That's a different fish that attracts other fish to it's light, cool fish! But the one I'm on about goes around in the pitch black turning his red spotlight on and finding fish, the poor bastards don't even know he's coming! You must watch that blue planet episode it's mind blowing!

Ahhhh yes! I think a great deal of the creatures of the deep were inspiration for the creatures in Avatar too actually
And nobody can dispute Sir. Attenborough's greatness Everyone wants him as their granddad ^_^
