Lightshows 2.0 vers. Let's melt some fucking faces!

May I ask a question as a "lightshow-ee"? What is the proper etiquette on approaching someone to try and get a light show?

The more creative way that you go about asking, the better though.
 
Well I had my first. It was AWE-SOME. I said "it's my first light show" he grinned and said "it is? Are you rolling?" I answered and then he cracked his knuckles and proceeded to melt my face... It was so effing cool. I keep watching the video over and over and over.

Yeah, be polite and if youre on drugs try not to look completely fucked up while you ask (gurning, eyes rolling back, etc.). Ill never turn down a person asking for a show, but I get kind of off when someone who is obviously rolling off their ass asks for a show and proceeds to eat their own face during my show.
 
Naw. If anything I might've looked hesitant because I didn't know if it was rude to approach him or what.
 
If theyre giving a show, just wait patiently or look around to see if theres anyone else who looks available. Dont know what part of the country youre in, but over here theres glovers all over raves so theres plenty of different style shows to receiver.
 
Why dont you all decide on a single popular track and then all make a video to the same track and see who comes up with the most unique / interesting / exciting show.

It would be interesting to see the differences or simularities in each show?

thats awesome! I love when people ask me for shows. Especially if you can tell me that you're rolling/on acid/stoned/drunk/shrooming because i'll change what happens. Drunk people usually dont want really fast in your face moves because they'll get dizzy, for example.

I got a show for the first time back in December of 2010 when i went with a few friends and my gf to a multiple artist dubstep event. We peaked just as we got there and my gf turns to me and says "you have to see this" and pulled over two glovers who proceeded to give me a duo show.

Thats why i glove now, the experience was so mind blowing/face melting that i left saying "i have to do this"

About what you guys were talking about earlier, I love it when people are rolling really hard and give I get to give them a lightshow. I mean yea it's less of a challenge but the look on some people's faces is inspiring to keep going and just rewarding to see them totally trance out... IMO.
