Open Air Scenes?

i second the chicago open-air thing. it's ridiculous.. never had a problem going down there without a connect. and after reading a bit of the closed chicago heroin threads, it's obvious that we're all going to the same area, lol.

i'm actually from milwaukee though, and incidentally i tried going in the hood here today for the first time to see if i could cop like i can down in chi- trips down there get expensive without a car. fuckin' fail man. nobody. i ended up finding it but not before one group of brothas tried ripping me off, and the people i did meet were just middlemen that my buddy/driver had to give a ride to their dude's house or whatever. got a shitty deal because of it... like, 50-60% of what i would've liked to have gotten for the money, of mediocre quality. :P

so yeah, no open-air market in milwaukee.

Not to be racist or to stereotype, but if you're in the hood and there's a few young black men on the corner, it's at least a 75% chance they're slangin' something. Just the truth.
 
i've had better luck in the housing projects than at random corner stores. i dunno. maybe i'm going in the wrong spots in milwaukee, but from my experience today, there were tons of people out or on their porches like in chi, and everyone would stare at you like in chi, but nobody would say, motion, or do anything. awkward. the people we ended up just rolling up on and asking all said "No" or didn't know what we were talking about. also awkward.

"....looks like you guys are the boys."
"....forget it dude." lol

and i'm telling you, we were in the right hood. again we ended up finding it but it was from a middleman who didn't even really fuck with the shit, and was of mediocre quality. it definitely wasn't like chi, man. tbh i was thinking about hanging out by the needle exchange here downtown and asking the junkies who go up in there. couldn't hurt i figure.
 
When your in the game long enough you can spot them from a block a way....or at least i can... I don't know how to explain it... You can just feel the vibe out and know whats good
 
are you in or around mil? i just honestly think there is no scene here. or maybe i'd have better luck in the barrio than in the hood. again, chi- no problem. anyone can cop within minutes of getting off the interstate. here? we spent three hours driving around and happened to get lucky, imo.

I was driving around Chattanooga and came across the open air market there. I wasnt even looking either. I didn't buy anything but next time maybe.

You need to find out the local slang for the dope they use your area... calling it the wrong thing will most likely get you nothing....
 
totally agree, but they call it boy up here. they call it blows down in chi. always thought that was strange. in that particular context i think i just asked the wrong dude, but who knows. the guys we ended up picking up, i had asked if we were in the wrong area or something, or if it was like chicago where we could just drive down the block and get flagged down, but they had said no for the most part- weed, maybe, dope, not so much. could've been BS too though, who knows.

yeah, chi is all good. just wish i didn't have to take an hour and a half expensive train ride or a two hour greyhound down there just to score. i'm like, ten minutes away from the milwaukee hood. could walk there, even :P *shakes fist in annoyance*

Find a junkie or crack head tell them you will hit them off with a bag as long as they introduce you to there man.... always works when you feel there is no hope... Than you meet there dealer man, who knows your cool because your introduced through a customer and get his number and your good to go
 
that's a good idea, dude, there's tons of homeless people begging at the walgreen's across the street from my house too. can't hurt to try it.
 
Do that shit! I personally love the rollin round the hood lookin for new connects. You always see some charececters down there. And ppl are always cool with the wite boys round here cuz they know we're good customers. I copped last last night though (which I hate doin) And a couple blocks from the spot someone had just got shot. Too bad, what a waste of life. And the D boys were all wound up. When he rolled up on me it took me like 2 sec to roll the window down and he was like man hurry up hurry up. But you hang around the hood long enough you will not only find good connects youll most likely see some crazy/sad/funny/unbeleivable shit.

I keep a network of heads as contacts in my phone. Whenever shit hits the fan with one dude I just make a couple calls with the promise of free shit and it almost always works.

Sometimes people aren't that quick to give up their connect especially if his prices are low.
 
It is always fun to walk around the <snip>.... jeez that place is like skid row its fuckin wacked down there... All u see is ghouls an gangsters
