Japan earthquake, tsunami pictures

Those pics are so fucking dperessing I don't even bother looking at them. All those satellite pics show is a depressing smear of shit over civilisation.
And no God doesn't have facial hair, God is facial hair and hair itself. God is the mite that is chewing on that facial hair as well.

No, God chews himself. Chewing is God therefore God does what God does.

They show the superior power of nature. They show 'civilisation' has a lot to learn about the land it feeds off. If nature were personified and able to talk she might even describe the 'before' pictures as 'a depressing smear of shit over the natural order'.

Just a thought.

You're thinking of Forrest Gump, and it's stoopid is as stoopid does.

Eh? Are you saying the Japs are stupid for building things? And this wouldn't have happened otherwise? That is a very ignorant way of looking at the situation.

No this has nothing to do with global warming or pollution or whatever line of thought you believe, this would've happened regardless.
like I've said, the moon and sun play a role, very doubtful this is because the Earth is pissed off or whatever, it could've happened anywhere, it's luck that it happened in a highly populated area. But then is it? All of these recent quakes have happened in the most populated areas of the region's affected. Fishy. Also, have you seen the reports of those millions of fish dying and hundreds if not thousands of whales beaching themselves? Something very odd is happening.

I can't work out whether you're a troll or just a complete retard.

Elaborate on what point you are trying to get across then you fuck. You believe human activity is responsible for Earthquakes?

The only shit thats been smeared is that which the 'civilization' has produced and consists of. If it wasn't for the 'civilization' they would just be images of receding sea water in the countryside, which isn't depressing at all.

Oh botfly, I will always respect other peoples opinions but please dont tell me you think this is a god punishing mankind...

Yeah because civilisation is bad and we should still be swinging from trees? do you realise what you are saying?

erm noo I was playing along as joke, we all have different defintions or perceptions of God though? You could call nature 'God', nothing wrong with that. I am agnostic, I'm not one of those 'bible gripper's' as Charlie Sheen says lol. Everyone has a different concept of God. I am not saying it's God's work, I'm saying it is either nature/lunar/solar activity or the tin foil hat part of me says there is technology out there that is powerful enough to disturb the plates that create earthquakes. I'm on the fence at this point in time.

No, I was just talking bollocks about God, much like all theological discussion really.

Shit just happens, nobody is to blame.

Actually, maybe Ben Fogle is to blame - after all he is a cunt. I'll get back to you on that one.

No not really because I don't know what you're saying. I've only read this page tbh, I should read go back and the whole thread.

OK I think I understand a bit. No, civilization isn't bad (well some of it is) but its just a fact of life that the earth is changing & moving and alive, and sometimes that causes us problems.

^err this sort of stuff has happened way before 'civilisation', for you to blame civilisation is a smack in the face of all of those who are suffering. Your argument makes you feel all lovely and Earth loving and green but has no real basis or connection to what is actually happening.

Show me where I 'blamed' civilisation.

Retard.

The blame culture is in your head, not mine.

here we are:

It doesn't show anything about civilisation you fucktard. You are incinuating that thousands wouldn't have died had there been no 'civilisation'. You are saying the 'natural order' of water, death and destruction is better than a few buildings made by evil ol civilisation. You basically said this is a natural correction to civilisation is which is fucking idiotic.

No, he's just saying civilisation is insignificant in terms of the earth's history and future. Just a blip, however tragic these events. That's all.
