Hey!
So I managed to make it to the sub-doc this morning, and get my first subs after quitting heroin yesterday.
I have already dosed 10mg, and still feel like utter shit. I do feel effects of the brurenorphine, but it seems like heroin wd's still come through, making me think that I might as well go cold turkey instead...
I also have a problem with the dissolution of the tabets. When I place one under my tongue, my mouth waters up completely, and it's hard to keep from swallowing. Anyone have any advice on administration? I got so frustrated after the first 6mg that I tried snorting half a 2 mg tablet, resulting in projectile puking all over the bathroom(fun to clean up while in wd's). And I had just managed to eat a banana with yoghurt before that, so now I have a nasty taste of combined subutex, banana and yoghurt in my mouth. Yuurrghhh...
Anyways, I hope that the shitty feeling is just in the startup phase of the substitution therapy - I'm sure it will get better with time. But damn I feel like crap and RLS is still there like mad!
Hope everyone else in the same boat is holding strong!
