I suppose I've been lucky? I went in, asked to fill my script early, and I got a typical response about it not being long enough for my Viocodins, I claimed I lost them. It was cleared with insurance very quickly.

I went in with a script that was too early I suppose. It was the date that was obscured, very difficult to read. The pharmacist read it as later than I did, and told me to wait two days. Fine I told her, checked the amount of pills I had and I suppose they like me since they haven't given me shit and haven't shorted me off my pills. Middle aged people most of them, and I always try to make them stop printing paper to save trees. That guy can't be bad can he?

what i wanna know is why theres a red flag by my name. i went to a psychiatrist thats closer and have been trying to find one and i did and he said theres a red flag by my name and its because my doctor didnt contact the pharmacy when i had 90 pills and 7 days later got 270 pills. This is bullshit and im really annoyed im leaving a voicemail saying I found my refills and they say refill on the 26th......so why would he need to wait till the 27th. what a douche.

My only gripe is when you clearly have an issue with there supply of generics. I've gotten sonata before opther places and shoprites were awful no sleep at all. I kept all the pills called my regular pharmacist on how to dispose of them. She said fill bottle with vinegar to prove that I didn't take all the pills but was carefully trying to keep them out of harms way. I have a refill for them and they said by law they can't transfer rx. My hometown guy said you can. Shoprite wants 240 for the script hometown guy only 15 per 30. Wtf?

Man, fuck walgreens. i went to try and get my script filled ON the day that it was dated. I got my script early, but the dr. dated it for when I was due for the reup. I had to go out really early the next day, and i wouldnt have had time to go to the pharm. in the morning. So i went to fill it the night before at a 24 hr walgreens. I had filled that same script there the month before too with no prob.

I couldnt find a single fuckin pharmacy that even HAD enough pills in stock to fill my script, and when I finally did, the piece of shit douchebag pharmacist refused to fill it without "calling to verify it with the doctor." I told him that i had filled it there before and nobody ever said that but he claimed it was their "policy." Of course it was 2 am so they couldnt talk to the doctor to verify it. Im 8 mos pregnant, and i walked in there clearly in fuckin pain, I cant even walk right when I aint got enough methadone in my system.

So he says no he cant fill it becuz he gotta 'confirm' it becuz it could be fake, etc.....I was so fuckin pissed . I had to deal with 14 pharmacies total to finally get my script.

I asked the clerk at another walgreens about that "verification" thing and she said that no, they dont need to verify any prescriptions unless the DOCTOR had called THEM and told them not to fill any scripts from me and there was a note in my file red flagging me about it.

I know that aint possible since i never asked for an early refill, etc, never did nothing shady, and am the model patient at my dr. I know there aint no way there would be a warning on my file or nothin like that. So the guy was just bullshittin me. It pisses me the fuck off. If you aint gonna fill no scripts at night why even be a 24 hr pharmacy, cocksuckers? WTF is the point if you just gonna deny that shit to anybody who tries to use your services? How the fuck do you know that I dont work the night shift, and do all my errands at night? Fuckin assholes.

And then they tell you "Oh well you can wait til tomorrow", I shouldt HAVE to wait, I am here as a paying customer with a LEGITIMATE script, askin to fill it, i shouldnt have to fuckin wait becuz you are afraid that maybe, somewhere, somebody might get high, so that means you gotta deprive legitimate pain patients out of their deserved prescriptions. seriously, fuck walgreens so bad, all i ever hear is bad shit about them and my experiences with them have sucked too. They are some real cocksuckers. The last time i filled my script there i did manage to get it, but the pharm tech was a fuckin CUNT to me! She tried to avoid filling my script when she found out that I was gonna pay by with medicaid by telling me that "medicaid is down" , without even swiping my medicaid card to check if it went thru or not. When i told her, OK, nevermind Ill just self pay out of pocket then, she looked super pissed like 'Dammit! My plan didnt work!" so she went and filled it, givin me the evil eye the whole time, and then when it was ready she literally, seriously just about THREW it at me, just kinda like shoving her hand at me and dropping the bag in front of me on the counter while givin me evil nasty looks the whole time, and then just walked away. I said thank you have a good night, etc, and she didnt even respond. She was a fuckin bitch and a half, disgustingly rude, and my MOM was there with me to fill the script. If she was that much of a mean nasty cunt to me with my mother there along with me, I doubt she even woulda filled it at all if I had been alone.

Walgreens sure as shit aint gettin my bizness ever again, thats the truth. Fuck them, seriously. I cant stand when pharmacists dont approve of the meds or the amount you are on so they do everything they can not to fill it. Oh, anybody on that much must be a junkie or have a forged script, so they treat you like shit. It couldnt possibly be that there is a person under 50 who has a legitimate medical condition that requires that much medication, could it? No way, thats impossible! They must just be a drug addict!

Well a family member has been a pharmacist for awhile and I went to worth with her for a couple of months to help her out.

You can thank the dea for pharmacists acting the way they do. Especially when corporate is breathing down their necks making sure they adhere to the drug czar's wishes, it can cause pharmacists to be the way they are. My relative doesn't think she is smarter than doctors or whatever, but she does get in a bunch of scripts that don't make sense which makes her have to call the doctor and correct his error so that the patient can stay healthy. That can make her a bit bitter as it causes her to become behind with the crazy amount of scripts she has to fill. After working with her I learned many things. Pharmacists go through many years of school, but the shit i learned they put up with and the amount they are worked had me change my major real quickly. With the economy as it is, every company is cutting corners. She works there alone when, based upon the amount of scripts she fills, she should have two more pharmacists provided by corporate to help her out. She's still very humble and decent with her customers. Like with any profession, there are some nice people and some big douches.

I dunno, the only problem I've ever had with a pharmacist was that they turned down my prescription for Oxycodone from my dentist because it would interact with my Suboxone. I didn't mind so much. I've never had any other problem. My pharmacist at Walgreens is nice. They won't fill a prescription of Adderall or Desoxyn though unless its four days or less before 30 days.

They probably fill about 100 scripts a night if not more, and 99% of those they won't deny or ask for verification because 99% of the scripts aren't people trying to buy them out of their narcotics.

Yes, the whole world revolves around you. You shouldn't have to follow the rules and you should be the exception because you have money 8).. Next time try and fill your script a day ahead of schedule so you don't run into these problems. And you don't 'deserve' this prescription. unfortunately in this country healthcare it not a right, its a privilege. Along with that, your not being deprived care. Legitimate pharmacists have to follow laws that have been created by the government and board of Pharmacy. And these laws were enacted because so many non-legit pain patients are diverting their drugs (not saying ur one of them), which just fucks over the people who really need them. Yea, I'd be pissed too. Your on Medicaid, but since that didn't go through, you paid for your script with cash? Personally, that is a big red flag telling me that you are diverting your pills or that you shouldn't be on Medicaid. Methadone is expensive and Im beginning to wonder if u are a pain patient or someone who is getting off dope, cus there are alot of better, cheaper meds than methadone for pain. And if you are using the methadone because ur a former dope addict, thats one more reason for the pharmacist to verify a narcotics prescription..

I hope she takes some of my advice like going in to fill her script a day earlier then when she needs them so she doesn't encounter a problem like she did in the future. Ehh well. I am of the belief.. if you act like a cunt you get treated like one. Pharmacists are not excluded from that rule. They tend to have a holier than thou attitude towards anyone on any medication that can be abused. It's not just a few bad applies, its the majority.
