Man, fuck walgreens. i went to try and get my script filled ON the day that it was dated. I got my script early, but the dr. dated it for when I was due for the reup. I had to go out really early the next day, and i wouldnt have had time to go to the pharm. in the morning. So i went to fill it the night before at a 24 hr walgreens. I had filled that same script there the month before too with no prob.
I couldnt find a single fuckin pharmacy that even HAD enough pills in stock to fill my script, and when I finally did, the piece of shit douchebag pharmacist refused to fill it without "calling to verify it with the doctor." I told him that i had filled it there before and nobody ever said that but he claimed it was their "policy." Of course it was 2 am so they couldnt talk to the doctor to verify it. Im 8 mos pregnant, and i walked in there clearly in fuckin pain, I cant even walk right when I aint got enough methadone in my system.
So he says no he cant fill it becuz he gotta 'confirm' it becuz it could be fake, etc.....I was so fuckin pissed . I had to deal with 14 pharmacies total to finally get my script.
I asked the clerk at another walgreens about that "verification" thing and she said that no, they dont need to verify any prescriptions unless the DOCTOR had called THEM and told them not to fill any scripts from me and there was a note in my file red flagging me about it.
I know that aint possible since i never asked for an early refill, etc, never did nothing shady, and am the model patient at my dr. I know there aint no way there would be a warning on my file or nothin like that. So the guy was just bullshittin me. It pisses me the fuck off. If you aint gonna fill no scripts at night why even be a 24 hr pharmacy, cocksuckers? WTF is the point if you just gonna deny that shit to anybody who tries to use your services? How the fuck do you know that I dont work the night shift, and do all my errands at night? Fuckin assholes.
And then they tell you "Oh well you can wait til tomorrow", I shouldt HAVE to wait, I am here as a paying customer with a LEGITIMATE script, askin to fill it, i shouldnt have to fuckin wait becuz you are afraid that maybe, somewhere, somebody might get high, so that means you gotta deprive legitimate pain patients out of their deserved prescriptions. seriously, fuck walgreens so bad, all i ever hear is bad shit about them and my experiences with them have sucked too. They are some real cocksuckers. The last time i filled my script there i did manage to get it, but the pharm tech was a fuckin CUNT to me! She tried to avoid filling my script when she found out that I was gonna pay by with medicaid by telling me that "medicaid is down" , without even swiping my medicaid card to check if it went thru or not. When i told her, OK, nevermind Ill just self pay out of pocket then, she looked super pissed like 'Dammit! My plan didnt work!" so she went and filled it, givin me the evil eye the whole time, and then when it was ready she literally, seriously just about THREW it at me, just kinda like shoving her hand at me and dropping the bag in front of me on the counter while givin me evil nasty looks the whole time, and then just walked away. I said thank you have a good night, etc, and she didnt even respond. She was a fuckin bitch and a half, disgustingly rude, and my MOM was there with me to fill the script. If she was that much of a mean nasty cunt to me with my mother there along with me, I doubt she even woulda filled it at all if I had been alone.
Walgreens sure as shit aint gettin my bizness ever again, thats the truth. Fuck them, seriously. I cant stand when pharmacists dont approve of the meds or the amount you are on so they do everything they can not to fill it. Oh, anybody on that much must be a junkie or have a forged script, so they treat you like shit. It couldnt possibly be that there is a person under 50 who has a legitimate medical condition that requires that much medication, could it? No way, thats impossible! They must just be a drug addict!
