...I've found that if you're at the point where oral laxatives or stool softeners aren't working, but you don't want to necessarily go through the work of making and administering an enema...

^It's really not much work.

Glad the lube worked for you! Also as always prevention is key. Could have greased up the hole a weak or two earlier eh.

Few questions, i've got some giant pods on the way and its my first time with PPT

1. I know its hard to estimate, but whats a good starting dose in weight? People say 3-5 normal pods but i dont know how much bigger these giant ones are

2. Whats the best way to make a brew/crush the pods since i dont have a coffee grinder or a blender, and what alternative ways to take them are there

3. What antihistamine is best to take, i've got a pretty low tolerance considering so nausea & itching is still an issue

Thanks!

Poppy pod tea - the lowest dose - long-term use

Hello,

Will I become addicted to 1 teaspoon poppy pod tea, daily and using it for a long time?

Will I face difficulties whenever I stop it?

do you recommend it to me? is it safe?

I found it healing to me, none of the MAOIs or SSRIs could help me, but poppy pod did it for me, i feel normal on it, really sane.

I don't wanna get high, don't wanna euphoria, only this very low dose which I feel great with it,

Its 4 days now i drink it and still is working wonder, will it stop???

Thank you

hi, welcome to bluelight:)

before posting a thread in the future you might like to use the search function and post your question in an existing thread, in this case, the mega poppy pod tea/seed thread.

i'll merge this into there for you. being a very basic question this also would fit into Basic Drug Discussion.

please take the time to read the BLUA. the OD Guidelines, Posting Standards and Directory are available in my signature as well which contain many useful pieces of information and threads.

enjoy your stay

Thank you Mod

I searched but haven't found exact answer to my special question,

Looking forward to your help here,

thanks

Poppy tea is very addictive. It doesn't just have one alkaloid but many, each of whom have their own special "relationship" with your opiate receptors, so its very easy to get addicted in a rather short period of time. Took me less than a month. Will you get addicted from one teaspoon, I cannot say, but if you're using every single day, then there's a strong chance that you will.
Also, tolerance can build fairly quickly, so that "just one teaspoon" this week can become a tablespoon next week, then two and next thing you know, you're blowing through your supply in days and of course I can't mention price, but these days this stuff is no longer cheap.
I agree, Poppy tea does have alot of positive affects, but be careful, the withdrawal from it is one of the worst experiences imaginable.

It depends on how you define addiction. The short answer is yes as it will be hard to stop and you will eventual go through some withdrawal like all opiates. However if it doesn't negatively affect your life or at the very least the positive improvements are worth it then perhaps it won't become an "addiction".

Will I face difficulties whenever I stop it?
This mostly depends on how much and often you use it. If you use it every day then once you stop there will likely be some acute withdrawal, severity depending on how great your dose is. As for mental issues cravings and such this varies from person to person and I can't really tell you how you will feel. Most people do have trouble stopping though.

do you recommend it to me? is it safe?
I would general not recommend anyone take it. The dosage varies greatly between batches, it is relatively expensive, has a long half-life and is almost assuredly illegal where you live. In my opinion kratom or codeine would be better options if available, although they are usually considered milder opioids. Either way your individual situation is completely unique and no one but you can make this decision.

Due to tolerance and other adverse affects not many people will tell you poppy pod tea is a sustainable solution to depression, and those that do are often using and in denial about it themselves.

I don't wanna get high, don't wanna euphoria, only this very low dose which I feel great with it,
That is a good approach to any drug and means you may be more likely to succeed in not abusing it and having it as a positive influence in your life. Once again though tolerance and side effects can still build up and do you plan on doing this for the rest of your life? Eventually you probably will have to stop.

Its 4 days now i drink it and still is working wonder, will it stop???
You will likely need to start raising your dose as your tolerance builds. I don't think it will ever "stop" until you get to such a high tolerance your doses contain huge amount of bad alkaloids in the pods and you can no longer feel good without feeling sick.

Thank you!

No problem. Opioids are usually prescribed solely as pain killers for a reason. Their potential for abuse and dependence are just so high. You haven't mentioned what it is you are suffering from but if you do ask about it you might get ideas for other drugs.

Thanks for replies!

Positive influence indeed, that's why I wanna Poppy tea, Im not into drugs, Ive got things to take care of in my every day life and poppy indeed is giving me a hand, changes been obvious in last few days for me, in many aspects,

right! everyday use will become dangerous as the tolerance will build up very quickly, I already had noticed that the next day I felt yet good, so I limit my tea 2 times per week only, and not daily! this must be very important, thanks! reading through other threads now, others confirmed this too not to take daily or even every other day, big thanks!

^Just be aware that this is still how a lot of people start off. Be careful. A rule a cousin of mine had was he wouldn't order more pods until 1 week after his last batch ran out. This helped with a week plus break every so often and made sure he respected the variable strength of the new batch.

Just ordered myself a 1/2 kilo box of giants. Been a while so I'll take it easy. Good to know there's still a few things we get cheaper in the UK.

With my low dose poppy pod (1 teaspoon), Id like to add Nigella sativa oil, for potentiation, anyone had success with it?

Two times a week is almost certainly enough to cause addiction in most people. The effects of the pods linger for an incredibly long time. I have used pods at the tail end of other opiate addictions, and have noticed that w/d didn't start to creep up for maybe 3 days after the last pod dose.

Since the alkaloids in pods are varied and last for such a long time, the withdrawal from pods is among the worst of any opiates, both in terms of strength of w/d symptoms and length of w/d period. Pods are up there with methadone for most people as the worst opiates/oids to come off.

This is a very good rule to go by... I use it myself.

i ordered a small box from a online vendor about 6 days ago
and usps tracking still shows in transit. it is always normally
delivered on the 3rd day. anyone else having same issues?

Post man came with mine there and they must have bust out of the packaging. Royal mail had just dumped them into a see through bag ffs. My mum answered the door and looked at me as if to say... what the fuck are they:)

Theres absolutely loads of them. I only ordered 1/2 a kilo as that was the smallest you could order. Time to get to work:)

How much citric acid/juice should I put in to maximize morphine content? And do I put this in the actual extraction (in the bottle) or in the tea after it's extracted?

Poppy pod bitterness

Hello i have currently been experimenting with poppy pod tea using up to 10 pods with relatively weak effects.

I have often heard others say how terribly bitter PPT tastes, however the tea I'm drinking tastes only as bitter as black tea.

So does this indicate that the pods I'm getting aren't much good?

Also how bitter does PPT taste like in your experience?

Thanks in advanced.

use a chaser, OJ works best, and if the pods are moldy they will be intensely bitter & nasty low quality pods

Poppy pod tea didn't taste incredibly bitter, in my experience. At the time, my tolerance was such that 40 mg of oxycodone would've been a great night, and would've lasted the entire night, perhaps even with some left over (at least until the end of the run, by which time that amount had roughly doubled, so still, not a high tolerance.) A cup of tea made with 2-3 large pods could've even been called too much. This was long before the recent problem with pod quality, however. I remember actually enjoying the taste...which I would only describe as vaguely bitter. I'd call the taste more dull than anything.
