What are you munching on? v. Noodle nights n greedy monkeys

Chip shop wouldn't serve me a veggie burger as it would take too long to cook! Bastards. So crumpets and philadelphia it is. Am developing a mild crumpet addiction :D
 
I love omlettes but I don't put cheese in them. A ham or bacon omlette is my favourite. I need to put in more milk to compensate for the lack of cheese.

Are chippie burgers battered down south?

what about poached egg with spinach and cheese sauce Spade? Hollandaise is better but cheese sauce is nice.

Must make more chunky soup - thinking spicy veg, choritz and chickpea. It's right soup weather here.

They are not. Not veggie ones anyway! Are they up north? Never come across a battered burger I must admit but I quite like the sound of it ;)

Mmm chunky soup, got some covent garden halloween spicy pumkin soup in the fridge, must remember to eat it up soon :)

Ooh butternut squash are lovely - I like to roast them with red pepper, garlic and then blend them with some chicken stock and lemon thyme. Just before serving I stir in some creme fresh and its just lovely.

Tell me about it - I have put on nearly 5kg since I came back from Ibiza - the ket/vodka diet I lived on when there did wonders for my waist line but probably shaved off 5years from my lifespan (good trade off really - much rather die a skinny happy person than some miserable fat old fk complaining about my knees and a gammy hip)

The O/H bought this cheese today. I have to say, its simply yummy. I was dubious at first but pleasantly surprised.

Its just amazing.
 
I had stiltion and ginger the other day. I like both but together it wasn't nice.
