What are you munching on? v. Noodle nights n greedy monkeys

I was just offered the exact same for breakfast, no sausages though apparently which is shit but there's bacon, egg, black pudding, white pudding, beans and toast. First time I've had a cooked breakfast for years I think.

It was the German Irish Pub equivalent of an Irish breakfast, which aint really that much cop to be honest, but needs must, I get major cravings for proper English food at times, as anyone living far away from home will appreciate.

I've just made sweet chilli chiken stiry fry :D

It was lovely and I feel so adventurous. I took the liberty of photographing it in the process - just to prove to Spadey boy that I made something other than steak for dinner!

(Was before I added the sauce and noodles...and I have no wok)

Someone say they're proud of me, please. I even eated all the veg! My stomach won't know what to do with veg :\

I'm impressed mate but not if you used a jar of sauce even a monkey can do that. :p

I made a chicken noodle stir fry as well, breaded chicken & mixed peppers with a sauce I made up of chicken stock, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili oil, garlic, chilli, spring onion, fresh ginger, 5 spice, coriander seeds and paprika. Was tasty as fuck.

That looks tasty Don.

Today a joint effort in making dinner. A creamy alfredo type pasta with sliced port leg. Twas lovely ( I tried a bit later on) I wasn't feeling too well so went for a nap instead of eat dinner. Though I did have a nice bowl of soup when I woke up.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow night's dinner. We're going to roast a turkey leg tonight and have a pumpkin and turkey Risotto. Yummy!!

I'm very proud of you Don %) looks very nice and eating veggies is good for you too!

Also had stir fried chicken n' veggies here 8o with homemade lemon, ginger & garlic sauce - lots of spring onions in it too.

I had a friend for dinner and she brought a chocolate cake round. To be polite I had a very small slice with a cuppa for afters and sent her home with the rest of the cake.. tis dangerous stuff cake :|

Kate, I can assure you that if I were to bake you a cake, dangerous or not you would not be sending a crumb back with me.

Yes, I am that cocky about my cake skills. MMmmmm Cake.

Made a nice pasta today with chicken and king prawns in the sauce (I'll admit it was a premade sauce but i did slice some chillis n shit and put them in to give it a extra kick!) was pretty nice. Made a bit too much though so that's in the fridge for when i inevitably get hungry in the early hours. X

Just got done munching on some tasty home toasted pumpkin seeds. They were so nice.

Can't wait to make another pumpkin dish so I can toast me some more seeds.

^
So not fond of pumpkin :| seeds are okish. Used to love making lanterns for my kids at Halloween, alas not done that in some time! :)

Just had the last of my chunky veg n' chicken soup. Day 3 and it was tasty as hell.

Pumpkin soup served in a hollowed out pumpkin is amazing!

I've no idea what's for dinner tonight, waiting for everyone to get in and see if they're eating or not. I'm starving! If no one else is eating I'm ordering takeaway again.

The pumpkins you generally get in the supermarket taste of fuck all. The other varieties not used for carving are a lot tastier.

I ordered a chippy and it took 2.5hrs to turn up. Jumbo battered sausage and chips. Was pretty decent though.

We found a new Chinese place so I had hot n sour soup, wantons, squid in chilli sauce, chicken in yellow bean paste, szechuan pepper and veg fried rice.

Very nice :)

You get much more variety in the states. I'm a fan of all veggie of the squash variety.

Harlequin is quite lovely.

Hopefully I should be moving soon but my next place will have a pumpkin patch of many variety. I just love them in every way. Tasty wee things so they are.

The large pumpkins you get in the supermarkets are good for pumpkin pie. FYI
