What are you munching on? v. Noodle nights n greedy monkeys

I just went out for my dinner, needs must, no oven and didn't fancy a pot noodle.

I went to Pieminster Pie cafe, handmade pies in Bristol, so delicious.

I chose a Veggie Mexican 3 bean chilli, Butternut Squash and Fresh Coriander pie, on a bed of Mash with gravy. I'm set for the day now. It's the most i've managed to eat since Wednesday!

 
Tonights gonna be an epic feast, big indian dinner. Lamb bhuna, chicken jalfrezzi, chicken tikka, pakoras, samosa, bhajis, dips, chutneys, popadoms, naans. Can't wait!
 
I'm all for quiche on a 6 monthly basis, preferably homemade or M&S broccoli one.

Actually managed to make that spicy soup today, but currently have no appetite for it, maybe later...

However the thought of a fish supper excites me :D that's all it does because going out to get it isn't a good story. Avoid and live in fairyland.
 
ive just made a huge bolognese. i was recently given 5 kilos of top quality mince beef from an old mate of mine (farmer). i used 2 kilos in the bolgnese 8o

i havnt tried it yet im gona let it simmer away for about 3 hours first but it shoud be good shit.
 
Put a beef caserole in the oven a bit ago. Also had something rahter tasty and japanese made with the beetroot tops i got on the funky beetroots I bought at borough market. umai <3

I had beetroot with my soup 'n salad tonight, though as usual and to the traditional pallete I done it with some balsamic n' garlic 8) Tasty enough but I'm always up for new culinary ideas =D
 
Blanche the tops and then squeeze out the water. Cut into 3 inch length and add shoyu, white sesame seeds and katsuobushi flakes. Pretty tasty.

My traditional Scottish grown in a field nearby beetroot salad prepared aka traditional stlee wasn't too shabby on taste mind ;)
 
I've got tonights chili con carne simmering away in the slow cooker it's gonna be delicious! Now I have to decide whether to go trek to tescos and get ribs for mexican style ribs to go with it. Knowing this tesco they won't have any wasting an hour of my time.
 
So pessimistic Spade :(

I had a KFC for the first time in about 5 years. Was actually okay. Then again, I did only have a sandwich. Some sort of Jack thing. Dunno but it was nice.

We're having Pizza for dinner tonight 8) Kids sleep over and the O/H is away on business so no point in making a separate meal.

Come to think of it, I may just have fruit for dinner. Too much crap to be eaten in one day. I'd like to see something fresh in my body today.

Nah seriously this Tesco is rubbish, it lacks in everything. The amount of times I've went specifically for something and they've not had it is unreal. Some examples, strawberries - none, dry roasted or salt & vinegar peanuts - none, microwave mashed potato - none, reggae reggae sauce - none, anti histamines - none, bread rolls - none! It's hopeless and it's not even that small a Tesco. It just has nothing, the choice is so limited. You can get more from the Tesco metro which is a bit further away than this proper sized one. :\

My chilli tasted overly spicy earlier but now it's not tasting spicy enough after cooking for a few hours. Weird like but not sure whether to stick some more in, could end up being OTT.

Chilli Con Carne sounds much tastier than crappy pizza. Its not even take away. Plus Spade sounds like an awesome cook.
 
I think someone is making me yakiudon today for dinner. We bought some from the Japan centre this weekend and they said that they tasted chinese not Japanese and they felt compelled to show me how it should be haha.

Take away pizza is crap anyway, If I'm not making my own (which I rarely do) I'd much rather eat supermarket than anything from Dominoes or Pizza Hut. Especially when they cost over a tenner for a decent sized one with a few toppings.

Its okay, I checked and I'm not allowed to eat dinner with over aged ginger virgins. They're far too creepy.

I'd love to make my own pizza but its all in the base and I've yet to master a good base.
