Hey P-sox:

A massless spring of spring constant k is mounted on a turntable of rotational inertia I. The turntable is on a frictionless vertical axle, though initially it's not rotating. The spring is compressed a distance Δx from its equilibrium, with a mass m placed against it. When the spring is released, the mass leaves the spring moving at right angles to a line through the center of the turntable, at a distance b from the center, and slides without friction across the table and off. Find expressions for (a) the linear speed of the mass and (b) the rotational speed of the turntable. Hint: What's conserved?

Haha I did too when I was your age, man. I really couldn't give a shit about any of that stuff.

Then I got a bit older, my attention span expanded to be longer than 2 seconds, and I started to enjoy the challenge.

I can't say I "enjoy" physics, though. Nobody enjoys physics, that would be preposterous. That would be like expecting the Spanish inquisition, and nobody expects the Spanish inquisition! =D

Its an acquired taste-- one of those things that you learn to appreciate because its rewarding in the long term, not because you necessarily have fun while doing it (although sometimes a bit of amphetamine can turn a physics problem into an epic quest for the right answer-- which can be fun in its own manic sort of way :D).

Aw man, much love sent your way. Have you considered growing some shroomies?

If you can find a private, clean place to do it in, then that's a great option. Very rewarding, inexpensive, and yields an enormous amount of top-quality psychedelic material.

I'm thinking I'm gonna have to man up and do a DMT extraction.

why cant teh chems i like most be easy to obtain liek DMT
no way in hell would i ever be able to get the chem knowledge to make MDMA or 2CB and even then i wouldnt take the risk.
moar clandestine chemists specializing in MDMA+2CB, plz.

Fucking whiskey. I rode around in the trunk of a 5 speed saturn for like a decently long distance last night. Well it seemed pretty far. Really disorienting feeling yourself moving with no visual cues as to how fast or what direction.

Bah. phenethylamine synthesis is actually incredibly easy. You don't need any chem major for it. You just have to have an interest in the drugs themselves which will feed your desire the read the internet for hours on end plowing through various synthesis protocols. :D

You can pretty easily figure out how to make it through someone else's work of actually figuring out the specifics of the reactions. In order to figure out how to make something from scratch without someone else's method to follow as a guideline; then you'd need a strong chemistry education.

tbird; try hunting the internet for legal (in our country) drugs. It may take a bit of time and effort but once you figure out how to search a big world will open up. :)

In other news; LSD is on the upswing, lots of it flowing around Ontario/Quebec right now; I'm sure it'll come to you at some point. If you're able to find MDMA just keep asking people in the drug world; eventually it'll show up. :)
