Just wanted to add a few things. I have been very busy lately and had a few dramas. Few weeks ago i had a pretty bad cold/flu so i decided to take sum cold n flu caps that contained 10mg of DXM. Took them for bout 4-5 days straight bout 60-80mg / day. On the 4th day i did my usual CWE. 300mg felt alot nicer than 700mg. I thought nothing of it and put my good experience down to something involving my sickness/appreciation to pain killers so i decided to try again.

Got sum DXM and had 150-200mg and dosed my usual 600-700mg codeine. My god ive never been so wasted off it in my life. Anyone thats having opiate tolerance issues like me i highly recommend that u look into it. I believe it really does lower tolerance and increase the desired effects. 700mg used to do fuck all to me before i started DXM.

Just a warning tho if u are experimenting with this technique then exercise it with caution and only have half the amount of substances u normally have as it makes a huuuge difference. Ill keep u guys updated later on once i have found out how long the potentiation and tolerance reduction lasts for. It works very well with oxys/morphine too.

sorry to bump this thread as i know there was a bit of socializing going on in the in the codeine law changes thread (whatever it was called) that was closed for that reason.

i've been successfully CWE'ing codeine from APAP for a while now, using the exact same technique that gives me pretty much clear codeine water, this time i used ibuprofen/codeine tablets for the first time (panafen+) and my solution is far from clear.... is this normal? i mean it's very cloudy and i can barely see through the cup.... i used more water as was suggested earlier in this thread.... although i was scanning pretty fast and may of missed the answer i was looking for, and i do apologise if that's the case, i also posted something similar in the FAQ on OD, but i'm pretty sure you don't get codeine/ibuprofen OTC in the states, and thought i'd get a more definitive answer on here.

will go back over the faq and see if i can find the answer myself, but would be great if some kind BL'er answered my inquiry before i managed to find it myself.

no i haven't drank it yet, just would like some confirmation before i do thats all, cheers.

Yeah, APAP/codeine tabs come out much clearer than ibuprofen/codeine ones. Panafen+ will still end up a bit cloudy even after a shirt filter followed by coffee filters IME. I don't think the cloudiness with ibuprofen/codeine tabs is related to there being a more than desired amount of ibuprofen in the final solution but rather a result of binders/fillers in the tabs. I may be wrong though.

Im actually drinking a 700mg CWE as we speak lol added 120mg DXM and 40mg oxy.

Ull be all right mate, i used to use Chemist own 10/500 paracetamol ones but now ive diverted to using ibuprofen ones. Tastes alot better, filters easier and quicker and usually contains 2.8mg more codeine than ur average 10mg paracetamol ones.

I only use a shirt for filtration and it comes out pretty cloudy. It doesnt have to be clear. Use 3ml of water for every pill u have.Just remember that u filtered all ur gunk out and the leftover which has somehow dissolved into the water is def not more than the recommended max dosage which is about 800-1000mg.

hahah yeah thanks guys.... i use boxer short material layered on top of a coffee filter, leave it for a while and squeeze the crap out of it.

and @ Sustanon.... you lucky bastard! i have a shit load of oxy, but there in my mums safe, and they're in europe... was meant to be in a rehab, and the deal was that if i left early that my monthly oxy script wouldn't be accessible until they get back.... stupid safe. enjoy mate : )

lol if i knew the code i'd be tightly wrapped in gods blanket as i type, alas i'm due for a refill before they get back anyway : )

codeine, diazepam and tramadol will have to suffice until then... in fact i'm dosing just to avoid a H WD, not to get high.... day 2 and i've gotten away with absolutely no WD symptoms. Will be using subs to take me through to my next refill as i sourced them for double the price of what one would normally pay if one was on a suboxone program... ie doubled the chemist fee.... both party's were happy

Anyway, just waiting for the tram to subside before i drink my ready made codeine beverage 384mg.... might half it as codeines HL is legless

OK so this was in the paper - hardly a reputable source but...

That is another great reason to do a proper CWE on ibuprofen-containing products

Thats normally 6 pills. The 12.8mg ones with 200mg Ibuprofen. Its always safe to do a CWE. I havnt popped any for a very long time. Not worth the risk.

30% risk of what? thats the thing that shits me about that story is that it doesn't define what the risk was in the first place for the average citizen.

if my risk of stroke was 1% and there was a risk of a 30% increase from taking 1200 mg ibuprofen then my total risk has just grown from 1% to 1.3%

hence why the TGA issued a somewhat confused statement that where people had died from strokes that they had only seen 8 cases where their might have been a casual link between stroke and ibuprofen.

hardly evidence to suggest that ibuprofen causes stroke. but you wouldn't have known that from how the media drove that story. a slow fucking news day was what that was.

I'm not suggesting there isn't risk or harm but anyone who is taking regular doses of ibuprofen for pain purposes simply needs to see a doctor who'll give em forte in a second (or if your lucky like moi some pure codiene).

whilst those who are using it to get high should learn how to use google.

I've got the clearest liquid from not pre squizing through a cloth etc, but dumping all the liquid and sludge into the filter, and the sludge then becomes part of the filter. Can get almost clear as water that way, BUT this takes a long time & unless you are capable of pre-planning your binge 2+ hours in advance than it won't be for you.

But from a psychological point of view it makes me feel healthier drinking clear water rather than cloudy water.

^30mg is considered to be the lowest dose that will provide analgesia, lower doses (10-20mg) are used for cough suppression.

Some people feel 60mg, but I sure don't

most people notice 60mg in combination with alcohol. They wont' notice the effects other than pain relief but with some drinks they accidently realise the relaxing effects.

This has happened with so many people I know who aren't into opiates but are just taking a couple of Panadeine fortes for some transient pain.
