Uk Bluelighter Meet up?

WHERE SHOULD WE ALL MEET UP AND TOUCH EACH OTHER UP?

I could arrange a meet up for the beginning of December / End of November but I'd have to get everyone interested to agree prior. With enough notice I'd be able to work out how much each person needs to pay so that money could be sent to book the venue. There might be plenty going cheap.

I'm not even gonna try and look unless folk are interested. I find you interesting codders but to call us two hanging out a "meet up" is stretching it a bit. ;)

Ha ha, I know. I hope you're not suggesting I did that. If I recall correctly I believe I wanted to know it was certain as I wanted to give you my money ASAP as I couldnt be sure how skint I'd be closer to the time. =D Good thing too, I'm skint now. Had it gone ahead though my stuff would have been paid for and any supplies would have been purchased at the time the venue and tickets were paid for. Its the only way to do it. I've been caught out a couple of times before paying to go some where months ahead and finding out I'm skint when the time came. I'm much more responsible with my finances now. My current skintness has nothing to do with anything lavish. Simply life.

nah, wasn't suggesting it was all you, you were the only person that as willing to sort out the money straight away, it was all the others ignoring me and making excuses.

Is stupid though becase these people did want to come and would have paid but they just couldn't pay right there and then.

I think next time I try and organise something it will be when I am in a stronger financial position and could maybe afford to lose £50 or something because of someone not paying, will book it all up and then get on people to come and pay.

although I don't think that will be happening any time soon, I won't be trying to organise a meetup for a while, not one that involves deposits and other money.

I'm sure CartoonPHYSICS was quite up for a Scottish one aswell. Somewhere in a house/cottage/hotel where we could all just get supercalibanjaxified away from preying eyes would be good.

Would be easier than meeting in a club where you'll end up loosing each other etc.
 
It would have to be a proper mashup if it was a Scottish one though wouldn't it? Few beers in a pub, a decent pill, some 2c's, some weed, some ket....... any other drug under the sun that seems appropriate at that moment!

We're going for the full weekend mashup here, I will settle for nothing less.

can i just point out the obvious fact that you don't need money from people to organise a meetup? all you need to do is turn up at the same place at the same time, that's a meetup.
 
It was a meet up in a chalet on a campsite that I was trying to organise which would have cost £50 each, deposit was needed in order to book the place.

In a previous meet up at a hotel we just paid beforehand and people paid us when we got there. couldn't afford to do it this time though.

Indeed.

I've been to lots of BL meet ups in London, and Newcastle, no money was exchanged at all. Just tickets bought for event, and pub sorted to meet in before hand.

Accommodation was sorted by individuals for themselves, or someone was kind enough to let us crash at theirs til first train back in morning.

Safer that way too, for those concerned about dawn raids by cops because location is too organised and announced on a board filled with druggies ;)

I couldn't havemade the chalet meet up, as the dates clash with a festival i'm going to next week.

If that's the meet-up I went too it was awesome. I spent most of that night in another dimension =D!

Manchester meet-up soon anyone ? Gunna be moving there for uni in next few weeks, so need some fellow drug pigs to party with ;).
