i, as a senior moderator, did in no way use my powers to stuff the balot box

i am so pleased to hear that democracy is in full swing on bluelight.

and yeah... everyone'll vote for their nearest place but if anyone fancies a trip to leeds you can stay at mine as long as you don't turn out to be prick....

if you click on the numbers you can see who has actually voted, it was done more for comedic effect than dictatorship reasons :)

i'll give you the inside goss on who you don't want back at yours like, list as long as my arm...;)

i've put london but as i'm a lowly greenlighter i'm not exactly expecting to be invited.

Objectively peaking i'd say london or bristol are likely to produce multi genre party for such a meetup

Going to be all up and down the country shortly..

what date is this thinking about? Mite be able to make detour for a weekend yeye..

am i the only person here (apart from ashtray girl who's got enough sense to enjoy punk) who likes music with guitars in it? i can only stand electronic music when i'm fucked, and then its quite a limited selection.... and that said i don't know half the genres mentioned so they might have some guitar...

Nice to see another fan of punk! What you into?

I like all my electronic music, but also love metal like Black Sabbath, Machine Head, Hatebreed, etc and I'm pretty keen on grunge too. I am into quite a wide variety of music.

For me it is anarcho/crust, oi/street, gypsy punk as well as riotgrrrl and deathrock/horrorpunk. Plus always loved a bit of psycho/gothabilly.

WAHEY +1 for oi [business,4-skins,rejects etc].I like all kinds of music, from Abba to Crass. Not a fan of these 1,000,000 different genres of dance/techno but some of it's listenable i suppose.

Anything by Pete Doherty and most music of the year 2000 upwards is a no no.

Early Skrewdriver, when they were non political is fucking ace.

lol political being a shit euphemism for white power here, fuck ian stuart he derved what he got. punk and its many subgenres were my first love musicwise and i can always go back to it :D. I like bits and bobs of millions of genres, variety is the spice of life.

for people far away from bristol worried about travel I advise you to fly. I travel here from newcastle and it's as low as £36 return in advance! aye it's a bit shit on the environment but it's so much cheaper than a train and far preferable than 8+ hours via coach...

i'm less worried about getting there (have been travelling down about once a month for the past year). you're slowly convincing me... its having somewhere to stay thats the problem, as the people i was staying with have now left, i was pretty gutted actually as i love bristol so an excuse to go would be immense.

am also up for a leeds meetup with the few ppl who voted for that!
