Mushroom season 2010

Yeah re-distributed that is pretty normal for a tea, personally it takes me about 20-30 mins to come up and I am left with about a 3 hour high with slight effects lingering an hour or so longer, especially if I smoke weed.
 
seeking legal knowledge

Hi all, I have a friend in serious trouble with the boys in blue over the beloved fungi... He is in remand at a Melbourne prison. I'm having a hard time finding tested cases or details of recent prosecutions/convictions... I believe someone in this thread faced court recently. Am desparate to know how he went and what his legal strategy was...
 
how much was he caught with???? dried or fresh???? which state. u need to be more specifics bro. And does he have any prior incidents with the coppers. drug related charges etc etc
 
Sorry. 1.6kg dried. It's huge, I know... Regional Victoria. He was denied bail because he admitted to smoking pot everyday so they said he would get stoned again if they let him out. So he's in Port Phillip maximum security in remand but with people convicted life sentences. It's farked... I'd go into more detail via email... needless to say I've learned a lot about the Drugs Poisons & Controlled Substances Act 1981 and I'm interested to talk to those who understand any details from this. The two active ingredients are listed separately, as opposed to the entire mushroom as a whole.

Anyone see where I'm goin here?
 
he be nice to the LE's to the judge etc etc, with a good lawyer, it should be something like a 3yr good behavior bond or maybe a short suspended sentence.

For more than a Kilo dried? Psynapsurfa only had an ounce dried.

Is he being charged with supply?
 
just trying to be possitive here yooooooo. i've had mates being caught with 100lols/50trips at a major musik event and in the end it was no conviction. <3

Wow thats a significant amount. Gonna have a hard time explaining what he wanted to do with all of that. PS: Shrooms have 4 main actives in them. Hope everything will turn out fine. He will need a very good lawyer which will def help.

And Yeah that sucks mega dude, it's a whole lot of shrooms.
I don't know how he first approached it but he should have immediately seeked legal advise before saying anything. Not trying to be negative, just something worth keeping in mind for future and all Bluelight readers.


The dude who got done was Psynapsurfa, he got off pretty minimally from memory, but he was very firm on stating that they were specifically for personal use and that he had done so for a long period of time with no history of bad behaviour and has a family.

How old is your friend? Sadly his chances are slim becuase it's just such a big quantity.
Did he own up to everything straight away? We need to know more about what he said to give good advise.

Hopefully being a first offense he has a small chance, just wondering how did he get caught? was it when he was acutally picking? Or a raid?

Psilocybin (4-phosphoryloxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine)
Psilocin (4-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine)
Baeocystin (4-phosphoryloxy-N-methyltryptamine)
Norbaeocystin (4-phosphoryloxytryptamine)

It's still undecided afaik whether 4-phosphoryloxytryptamine contributes to much if anything to the experience.

He didn't keep his mouth shut, has always been willing to plead possession. But yes, because of the amount he is being charged with trafficking commercial quantity...which of course he refutes... (he thought he'd nabbed a lifetime personal supply!)

I'm wondering what % of 1.6kg is actually the two chargeable ingredients....

And would love to talk to psynapsurfa if anyone can let him know....just seeking information on what his specific legal defences were & what penalty he finally received...

Under Federal Law anything over 2 grams dried is considered trafficking.

While it's a bit beside the point when talking about mushrooms, Baeocystin and Norbaeocystin would be considered controlled substance analogues.
 
Sorry I have tried to read every post in this thread but must've missed the details of what psynapsurfa's result was.

I know my mate is in a lot of trouble but it won't stop me from finding any help available.... again I plead for anyone to let psynapsurfa know I would love to chat.

We need to find legal assistance, someone who knows the science....

Also any moderator/identifier who knows the % of active ingredients in dried shrooms....please advise.

He is not a trafficker, merely a quiet tripper who thought he'd found the motherload. I've seen the patch pics on this site & shroomery site. May I say his patch would blow away anything posted so far.....it was a stunner of a season ay.....
 
I (or someone else) can have a look at what's listed in Qld legislation if you insist, but I'd imagine the amounts of active ingredients present is likely to mean FA, in the same way as the it's the weight of MDMA tablets rather than the amount of the active ingredient that determines the seriousness of the crime.
 
Here is the thread that discusses psynapsurfa's legal troubles. He ended up getting off alright but he only had 27 grams, considerably less than your "friend" has been busted with. I would suggest your "friend" is up shit creek, but I dertainly hope I am wrong.
 
Thanks DrugMentor....I agree, he is up that creek without a paddle. He is a good man who went down the wrong path. His ex took off with his three kids (4,6 & 8) a couple years ago. He has suffered hard times & depression. He is far from perfect, but this is not the way we should punish people who have fallen down. He is no cartel. Yet he could get 25 years.... its just so wrong.

I love our magic nature as much as the majority of this forum's patrons, but believe anything can be abused. We all make mistakes. Yet rapists & peodophiles get better treatment.

As much as I think we all agree with you, the law is the law and the people who wrote these drug laws were clearly brainwashed and pressured by others to make them as stupid as possible.

All we can say is get a GOOD FUCKING LAWYER. that is the best thing you can do for your friend, and please let us know how it ends up.

the sheer fact that anyone gets jailtime for mushrooms is fucking stupid
