Happy to say I was in Germany surrounded by Germans who didn't take the piss, bought me beer and made me feel welcome.
As most other nations would, I feel sorry for that German guy there fair play to him for retrieving the flag.
Burning another nations flag isn't what British people do, its hugely embarrassing.

I hope Germany win this now.

Everyone seems to fancy the Spainish tonight but I think the Gerries will take it.

Hardly Heyssel though.....

One thing i've notice about this World Cup is lack of real fans. All the England fans being interviewed were called Daniel, worked in marketing or IT and sounded if they went to public school. I guess if you put the world cup far enough away from Europe you stop the scum, but also the proper fans.

Hmm. Spain haven't let me down :D. Was right about England's scoring potential (would have worked better if I'd said 'with OR without Rooney....'). And pretty much wrong about Fabio, it appears...
