I hate going to anything live such as league especially because I just want to concentrate on the game and dont want any distractions etc. For me league is worst because I have so many mates who go and they spend more time talking and "hey look at that chick etc" than actually watching the game. When game is on, I am dead to everything else.

shit dvr functionaility Still watching games after the fact (avoiding knowing scores until I can watch a game uninterupted)...got to Ghana-Uraguay game and was enjoying it immensely...then with the extra time....then with about 5 min left in extra time and still 1-1, DVR quit. So, now I have to go online and find the score and see how it ended. What a tease, to watch 115 min, but not know the ending

In related news, I'm half way thru ARG-GER and even the wife (more sports oriented than your average female) was impressed with how the Germans are in control of the first half. We're into the second half now, and ARG is trying to get into some attacks, but it's 2-0....knowing the comments above, GER wins it, but I don't know how the rest of the game goes. I'm hoping for a solid ass-kicking for ARG, mostly since I still resent the notoriety Maradona gets for cheating

Damn, the Dutch looked good today, was watchin the whole thing up at work but cuz it was lunch time i only got to pay attemtion to the second half, everything past minute 60 pretty much, caught the last 3 goals in the game,

cant say i have done a particularly good job this WC predicting games or even get the teams i am rooting for to win but i would like to see The Nederlands to play Germany cuz i think that would be quite interesting in terms of the terms n gameplay and also the geographic and cultural match-ups, i dunno if its the same but to me it seams on par with maybe a Lakers-Celtics type match-up (and i dont say that cuz they played this year) or perhaps Yankees-Redsoxs rivalries, atleast IMO

not to say Espana isnt a formidable team and likely candidate i just personally cant see how i could go against Deutchland, i mean i would kinda like to see the Spaniards in the Championship but i dunno how i could bring myself to bet against the Germans, they have destroyed two Good opponents, i mean four goals each game isnt a fluke, so thats where im goin with tommorrows game,

Yes and while I agree that England are hardly a good opponent, they are still not to bad so really that makes three good teams..

At this stage I believe Germany are so far ahgead of every other team that its just not funny.

Im happy for Holland they made it but I dont believe on what they have shown that they are in the same class as Germany.

But you never know, Spain are Euro Champions and the ball is round. Germanys age may play against them if they freak out but once again its not likely, Germans are a pretty stable lot.
