What are the top most addicting drugs?

- Heroin/opiates
- Cocaine
- Meth/amphetamine
- Benzos/alcohol

The thing with nicotine addiction is, I don't think it's the nicotine itself that's really addicting, it's mostly the cigarette-smoking ritual.

I'd have to say for me the most addicting drugs (atleast at the moment) would have to be:
1. Amphetamines
2. Benzos
3. Cigarettes
4. Cocaine
5. Oxycodone

I'd say it DEFINITELY depends on the individual. For example, the person who replied first to this thread said they found Cocaine to be the most addictive drug, whereas I can use Cocaine recreationally/occasionally with absolutely no issues at all.

Personally, I'd say Heroin [especially shooting it, of course], is the most addictive. I'd definitely say Meth is a close second though.

There are many, many different ways to define how "addictive" a substance is. I'm sure there are some -- or at least one -- at least semi-valid way in which Nicotine is the most addictive. But practically speaking, it's really not.

I had seizures for two months after kicking a heroin/benzo habit. The seizures were a direct result of the 8mg a day xanax habit.

Shit dude, 8 mg a day? That's heavy man..

I think one can easily become addicted just to having an altered state, and then it's just a question of which drug produces the most pleasure.

I mean, if someone becomes addicted to the state of being "high," by my definition, he'll go to pretty great lengths to get out of his face. At that point, he'll probably be most likely to form a habit with whichever drug is the most pleasurable for him personally.

What I'm saying is, while there are major physical addictions to some drugs (smack, coke, benzos) sometimes people can just have a psychological addiction to getting high itself. Maybe it's just me. Idk.

my list-
1.Methamphetamine and amphetamines. Number one fursure, i don't know many people who have the power for when they get some ice, or a amphetamines script to not do it all in about 2 days. shit is addicting as fuck!
2.Cocaine its i shit drug when its cut with bullshit, but clean potent coke is very fucking addicting and it drains your pockets from how much it costs.
3.Weed yea its easy to quit, but if you think about it doesn't your life kinda revolve around smoking? for example you go out with your friends a main thing to do is 1. get money 2. find weed 3. get the weed 4. roll and smoke 5. stay high.. and then you add most of your other drugs after smoking just imagine your life, how different it would be without smoking weed. except for the people who get anxiety attacks and terrible paranoia this one doesn't apply to you.
4.cigarettes there a pain in the ass, they taste so good but they smell so bad leave a bad taste in your mouth and fuck up your body so much. but either way you always go back to them because there legal.
5.opiates i personally don't find them very addicting. yea there great and all but i could care less if i coulden't get them.
